Jasmine’s comments from the What's the Name of That Book??? group.

So I read this book probably about two years ago. Pretty sure it’s a trilogy. In book one the heroine is either a junior or senior in high school and living with her aunt and uncle because her mother is unfit for custody I think. She meets the hero who pursues her very strongly but she’s hesitant to give in since her aunt is abusing her. I think her best friend and love interest have an idea that she’s being abused but don’t know the full extent because she keeps it hidden. The uncle knows his wife is hitting his niece but turns a blind eye. The last few pages of this book ends with the aunt choking the heroine to the point where she passes out and the reader is left wondering if she died. This book probably came out within the last 10-15 years.

Sooo the most vivid part of this book I can remember is that while giving her first blowjob, the hero asks her to "rub the head" and she thinks "weird kink but ok" and starts rubbing his actual head. She was obviously very innocent lol

The basic plot of the book that i can remember is 2 teenagers falling in love and then I believe he moves away and becomes and actor.

Specific things I remember:
- She thinks she has a good relationshup with her dad and that he's a good guy but the hero ends up telling her that her dad's actually a drug dealer and he has bought from him before
- The hero has some problems and I remember him going downhill fast and randomly showing up at her house in the middle of the night
- She was the one who introduced him to acting by getting him involved in the school play when they were in highschool

I listened to this on audiobook on YouTube a couple years ago so probably published within the last 10 years. Possibly a series or duology centered around this couple

I remember that theyre on opposite sides of a case so she intentionally takes off her pantyhose when they meet in an elevator (she knew who he was, he didn't know who she was) which distracts him before the trial. She got her job at her law firm because during her interveiw she said that she was willing to break the law in certain circumstances. She uses her looks in order to get ahead. I also remember he had a female dog walker. I read this within the last 2 years, probably published within the last 10

Hero and heroine had been together in the past but not in the present when the rape happens. But after the rape the heroine can only be around him. They go to the same college and he helps her heal. Read in the last 3 years, probably published within the last 10.
