I'm hoping someone here can help me. My sister and I are trying to find a certain picture book. We can't remember the title or authour because of course ??

Anyway, it repeats "and then..."...one page will have something good that happened "and then..." something bad.

Then at the end it seems like its ending on something good but then it goes to "and then..." with a picture of a monster.

We're pretty sure its "and then..." but it could be "but then..."...does anyone have any ideas?

Edited to add: the monster is just seen on the very last page and there's no direct mention of the monster. Its just "and then...." picture of a monster

I am pretty sure this book is from the 80's and its about a woman who is trying to have a baby but has miscarriage after miscarriage and in at least one pregnancy she loses the baby due to dr error...I feel like the book had a reddish cover and a picture of the author right on the cover...I also feel like they lived in a larger well known city but I could be wrong...any ideas?

I remember that this girl and her family were forced to move to an old family farm because they couldn't afford to stay at their old home. I don't remember the girl's name although I think she had a sister named Rennie, who also had down syndrome and they end up trying to find some old buttons (i believe) that they think are valuable enough to help take financial strain off their parents...

I remember reading this book quite a few years ago (probably at least 10...) and I remembered about this book and thought it was about a girl named Christmas who lived/visited a town called Easter but haven't been able to find anything...anyone have any ideas?

I will start with the fact that I read it in grade 10 English. It would have been 2000. Now that doesn't mean the book came out in 2000, we also read the third eye by Lois Duncan. I had thought the author was Lois Duncan but it doesn't appear to be that way.

The main thing I remember about the book is a quarry that highschool kids would hang out at. But there was one teenage boy and his female friend that I can remember. The boy was the son of a serial killer, who, if I remember correctly, burried the bodies in his back yard. His son was getting picked on and bullied because of his dad. They burned a cross or something on his front yard. He and the female friend eventually got close. He was sadly killed at the end of the book and I believe he was killed at the quarry.

It's vague, I know. I am sorry. The author is or was fairly popular and wrote a bunch of books in the same genre. But I can't remember their name!!!

I remember reading a book in the 90's (probably mid to late 90's) about a teenage girl who travels through time, i think using a ring or possibly a necklace and ends up in Japan where she sees her mother as a young child...i vaguely remember there being something about cherry blossoms?? anyone have any ideas?
