Emily’s comments from the What's the Name of That Book??? group.

I read this short chapter book when I was probably about 7 years old, and I can't think of the title for the life of me!

The protagonist is a redhead girl whose mother doesn't allow her to wear pink, which is, of course, her favorite color. I don't remember too many details, except that she is always getting herself into predicaments. The chapter I remember best is one about her running a beauty parlor for her friends out of her house. She sets everything up beautifully, but ends up ruining another girl's big, bouncy, blonde curls.

This is driving me crazy!
