185 I've looked in the online library catalogue for these, and they pretty much don't exist on the shelf in the closest libraries. Or the library has book 3 of a series. How frustrating! My sister wondered if my niece might be more inclined to read if books are on the iPad though, so Amazon might be the go.

thanks for the help.
185 thanks peeps. I'm passing all of these on to her mum. Hopefully some are on the shelf in the library.

ok..I might have fixed it. I went to *this* groups actual home page - https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/... - to 'edit membership' - down to the bottom of the page were it says "GROUP DISCUSSION UPDATE EMAILS" - "edit group discussion updates" - and on THAT page was a whole PILE of buttons, all set to 'individual emails'. Then ticked millions to 'none' (except the ones I want). If you refresh the page the 'none' ticked ones disappear.

Hopefully that will stop me having 35 one comment emails in the morning.

I've done that, and every time I go to a new thread, it says "add to my update feed" and "notify me when people reply" both return to being ticked. I may be seeing it 'all the time' coz I'm reading threads and just finding new ones.

I'll look again, since nothing seems to be sticking.

ETA: nope, both this group and the other group I'm in are still set to digest. This part is "When discussions I subscribe to with “digest” have new posts, email me; Daily"

185 this is probably the wrong area (please direct me to the right one, if one exists), but I have my email notifications set to DIGEST. But, somehow, I am still getting tons of emails. Each email saying I wont get NEW emails until I visit the forum again, and yet, just then while I was reading an email, I got another one. Obviously this bombardment isn't ideal and I want to stop it, but not permanently. (I wonder if the 'abandoned' threads have authors who get sick of email notifications.)

Whats happening here?
185 My first thought is Storm Boy, but that certainly isn't a seagull, or two children.

185 thanks :) I'll see which ones I can find as ebooks

185 I'm after recommendations for modern (2000+) time travel romances, in a similar vein to Outlander. Preferably with time travel back to 'our' past, and not from the future to now.

Bonus points if the time traveler is 'capable' in the past.

Previously enjoyed Authors: Flora Speer, Jasmine Cresswell, Eugenia Riley, Hannah Howell, Diana Gabaldon, Bethany Claire
