In the book Highest Duty you can see that hard work pays off. Captain Sullenberger worked really hard during his training, and it payed off when he was able to land an A320 safely in the Hudson River.

In the book Highest Duty Capt. Chesley Sullenberger talks about courage all the time. He showed extreme courage when he landed flight 1549 on the Hudson River. He says that the real leaders are the ones who step up in stressful situations and show courage. The ones who don't step up and take charge are the cowards. I agree with Capt. Sullenberger because every great leaders has shown some type of courage.

In the book Highest Duty, Capt. Chesley Sullenburger loses both of his engines just after takeoff due to a bird strike. Capt. Sullenberger has his own fate in his hands, he can either try and make it back to the airport or land in the Hudson River. He chooses to land in the Hudson and everyone survived. He made the right decision because simulation showed that he wouldn't of been able to make it back to the airport. I believe that he made the right decision because everyone on that flight survived the water landing.
