My book is Ripper, my character Carver was an orphan then got adopted by a detective to help him find his father. Carver then connects a man he believes to be his father could be the same man killing people. His mentor/ adopted father has Carver do a lot of the work for himself so that he can become a great detective one day.

I'm reading Ripper and at first Carver was trying to find his father with the help of a private eye that adopted him. Carver is putting some stories together and finding out his father might be a bad man.He doesn't know if he wants to continue to look for his father or even be a detective anymore.

I'm reading Ripper by Stefan Petrucha. My novel is about Carver Young he is an orphan hoping to find his father. Carver is being kicked out of his orphanage due to his age, unless he can get adopted first. Carver ends up getting adopted by a private investigator; Albert Hawking adopts Carver to help him find his father.
