The Amaranth Chronicles: Deviant Rising is a fantastic science fiction work. Alexander Barnes and Christopher Preiman participated in the second Sword & Laser: The Sequel contest. As the SciFi syndicate on Inkshares, it will be great to help push this worthy book across the finish line. Especially now that they appear to have been granted a couple of months extension, this will put the book well along on its final push for Quill!! Let’s make sure this awesome story gets published!
Congrats Alexander and Chris!

Great to have you join the SciFi syndicate - welcome!
I was traveling this past week so I'm behind on selecting an April book to support. Any ideas? If you have suggestions please post them as soon as you can on a new thread for April. Otherwise I'll probably make an executive decision in the next day or two before the calendar turns over.

I'm thrilled to announce that our first supported book will be The Inhabitants: An Unremembered Life by Michael Sebby.
This is a phenomenal work which was a Top 10 finisher in the Sword & Laser: The Sequel contest.
Mike has crafted a truly engrossing story which explores complex issues of dreaming and reality. This book is right up our alley and a perfect tone-setter for our syndicate!
The campaign for The Inhabitants has 57 days remaining and needs 115 more pre-orders! Let's boost this excellent book to the finish line for publication.
Congrats Mike!

I'll start. My name is Matthew Sobin. I joined Inkshares back in September before jumping into the Sword & Laser: The Sequel contest with my science fiction novella, The Last Machine in the Solar System. I was thrilled and humbled by the support of my friends, family and the Inkshares community which boosted me to 2nd place. I'm super excited that my first published work will be with Inkshares!
I love great literature and great science fiction. I think the best science fiction is also great literature. I'm drawn to futuristic science fiction that maintains realism and transports us to worlds, galaxies, or dimensions that might exist someday or perhaps already do right beside us. The intellectual questions raised by Asimov, Heinlein, Wells and so many others, are what keep me fascinated and searching for the next great story.
Inkshares brings a wonderful new model to the table. It promotes opportunity and levels the playing field. I want to help further the discussion about the excellent writers and work on Inkshares. Let's work collaboratively to find the thought provoking stories that should be read, and read widely.

You have found the Goodreads page for GREAT SCIFI for the 21st CENTURY and BEYOND SYNDICATE on Inkshares!
Our hope is that this syndicate focusing on science fiction will add to the growing community and dialogue on Inkshares and Goodreads. We look forward to supporting the important work of Inkshares authors!
Later in the 21st century it may be said that a few noble idealists banded together and the genre of science fiction, and literature more broadly, took a giant step forward. Too grand?? We shall see.
I would like this syndicate to strive to find thought provoking, intellectual science fiction, which goes beyond escapism. These works show how reality might be in the future, in another dimension, a far off galaxy, or even a separate universe.
Please join the discussion!
