Here's the article Harper Lee Dies At 89

Those are lofty goals!

Oh that's so nice! You're the only Shelfarian I've met in person so far ;)

My 2016 goal is to start writing Reviews again. I stopped a long time ago and always meant to get back into it. Hopefully I'll be successful!

It can be anything like...finally read War & Peace...or...organize my TBR list.
So, what are your goals?

The Princess Bride is probably one of my favorite movies of all time (I know all the lines by heart) and so I was very interested in reading this memoir by its star, Cary Elwes.
It's such a sweet book. You can tell everyone had a great time making this movie, which makes it even more special in my opinion. I loved all the little behind-the-scenes anecdotes that Cary includes. It makes me want to re-watch the whole movie to catch all the things he talked about!
So, if you're a fan of the movie, you'll appreciate this book.

After April, we'll revert to having a group read every two months.

I'm Lara (though you probably know me as llevinso for Shelfari). I'm the head moderator for this group though I have NO IDEA how Goodreads works, so please be patient ;) Special thanks to BC who has stepped up to set this group up!
Anyway, I live in Evanston, IL (right next to Chicago) with my fiance. We've been together almost 5 years and will be getting married in the beginning of April in Puerto Rico! Woohoo! That's also why I haven't been as active this last year. Wedding planning (plus a promotion at work) takes up a lot of time.
I got back into reading the classics several years ago (and that's when I took the reins in the Shelfari group). I also enjoy reading all other different varieties of books: non-fiction, historical fiction, memoirs, etc. I just love to read. So I'm always happy to get a good book recommendation (or give one!).
