I don't have much here, so recommendations would be great. I am looking at
Uglies,
Under the Never Sky, or
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer.

I am reading
To All the Boys I've Loved Before. I enjoyed her Burn for Burn series she wrote with Siobhan Vivian. I met both of them at my conference a couple of weeks ago. I am enjoying it. I was looking at
Ten, but I am saving it for the clock challenge. Also looked at
This Is Where It Ends,
They All Fall Down, and
Throne of Glass.

I would love some recommendations on this one!

Yes, I plan to do Kevin's clock challenge group when i finish my alphabet. I am getting closer!

Or I can actually just fb message them to u

I just have them as a google doc for myself but could email them to u if u want to give me ur email.

I have 2 other book challenges I have made for past years if you decide you want a different "challenge" than the alphabet.

I think it's great you are going to start over. You will be caught up with me in the middle of the alphabet in no time, lol

Yay! Great job! I have been eyeing that book on my library shelves.

I enjoyed
Panic because Lauren Oliver is one of my favorite authors. I haven't read but have been looking at
The Pocket Wife,
Please Don't Tell,
Promise Not to Tell,
Placebo Junkies, and
The Pact.

I read one other book by Kristin Hannah and enjoyed it. Have a great trip!

It actually sounds more interesting than most of your history books :) I might check that one out.

So I ended up with
Stars Above which was a short story collection for a series I have been reading with my school's book club. They were cute, but not particularly amazing. I am currently reading
Since You've Been Gone because the author will be at my conference, but I am not really liking it. The main character has no identity, confidence, or life really outside missing her best friend who apparently moved away. She is way too hung up on it, like it stopped the rest of her life. Annoying.

I am getting a little away from this challenge and out of order. I am soooo excited to go to Book Expo America and BookCon in Chicago in May, so I have been reading the authors I am going to see there. A few are helping my alphabet list, but most aren't. I will come back to my alphabet after I cram in a few of the other authors. Anyway, I ended up reading
Reconstructing Amelia for my R book and because the author will be at my conference. I loved this book. It is perfect for those of you who like Gone Girl and The Husband's Secret. It has lots of little mini twists, most of which I didn't see coming. I did have the right person for the big mystery, but different execution and motivation than I thought.

I read two G books because I couldn't decide. I read
Go Set a Watchman which I was REALLY nervous about because I love the first one so much, and I had heard it would make me dislike Atticus. I did it on audio, which was great as read by Reese Witherspoon, but I think I would have to examine the text further to make up my mind on Atticus' behavior. Although I see what people were referencing, I think it was fine, and I am inclined to think they did not read carefully, but neither did I, so there's that. You get the same humorous childhood tales as in TKAM, which is one of the best things about it I think. I do see the controversy in publishing it. After teaching this book several times a day for four years, I think a little of the characterization was not in line with TKAM, and there were a couple of details that actually contradicted the other storyline, like the outcome of the huge trial in TKAM, which really bothered me. There is also this great childhood friend who was like family to them that is never in the first book. Overall though, I enjoyed it. Second was
Glass Sword, and while I did enjoy
Red Queen, I didn't really like this one and had a hard time getting through it.

I tried to read
Firefight, but just wasn't feeling it. The first book in the series took me a long time to get into too. I abandoned it for
Forget Me. It was interesting enough to keep reading, but also seemed far fetched, predictable, and not exactly well-written. I don't think I would recommend it.

Yes, there are three.
Fragments and
Ruins

I'm glad you like it. I think the series gets even better as it goes on.

I've seen that one around a lot, Kevin. I look forward to your thoughts on it.

Love when the book gods intervene :)
