I just find it hard to follow. I didn't know if that was just because it was in audio form or not.

Oddly enough, the gore didn't really bother me. Maybe it was because it was in book form -- if it was a movie I wouldn't have been able to watch it. But I thought the brutality of the world made it kind of unique and interesting (although I wouldn't want to live there). I enjoyed the book!

I just finished The Chocolatier's Wife. It was a Kindle Book Deal a while back -- either free or .99. I didn't expect much, but I enjoyed it. Really light fantasy + a little bit of romance. I'm also tackling House of Leaves little by little -- it's intense.
