Showing 1-7 of 7
I too am struggling with Theon. I do not want to like him (mostly based on what I have seen on the show), but a small part of me feels sorry for him. He is a lost soul, and being taken from the Iron Islands at such a young age, I feel like his family has shunned him.
His character has never been all that interesting to me, but I do appreciate his perspective on Stannis, who is a mystery.
I am in the same boat as Brendan. Up until this point I was very annoyed with her character, but now I feel as if she is realizing that she needs to shed some of her naïve thinking. I am hoping that she continues to grow, because I love her character on the show!
Yes, there are many times that I have looked on Tower of the Hand to get a back story or to see the physical appearance of a character. Like yourself, if I get too confused I would quit as well, so seeing the show before reading the books has helped me tremendously!
A Game of ThronesI am starting to see that I need to think of the show and the books as 2 separate entities in regards to circumstances that occur in each world. To compare is to do the books an injustice. Anyone else feel this way?
I hate reading it knowing what is coming for Ned. Poor guy got a bad deal all the way around which reverberates throughout his entire family!♪ Leslie (aka Basesloaded32) wrote: "Ritika wrote: ""The king eats, and the Hand takes the shit." - Robert
"The king dies, and the Hand is buried." - Ned
Perfect description of the situation by both the characters!"
Yep.
Poor Ned h..."
