It made me sad last night when I was picking out my next read and one of the books I had on my kindle the title had been changed on Amazon. I felt bad for the author,
Just for shits and giggles (and because apparently I have no life) I went back to Amazon to look up dates on the cocky books but I didn’t do them all. I found three that were published before her first cocky book and several published the same year. I got tired of looking and I don’t even know why I did it. I’m not even an author.
I think this is wrong in so many ways. It’s stupid therefore she must be stupid. I’ve never heard of her but now that I have, I will be sure to avoid any of her books. Yesterday I did a search on Amazon with just the word cocky and 9 books showed up not including her series. It’s all over social media as I’m sure you well know and everyone is boycotting her books. Someone said it was bullying. So wrong. It’s a silent protest. I think other authors will prevail. I can’t see it happening any other way. Justice will be served. I just hope it doesn’t take too long.
Hey Brenda! Welcome to the group! It's not weird to want to save books of your fav author to always have a new one to read! I basically do the same, managing what I will read next.I know but I’m still weird :)
Hi! I’m Brenda and I began reading romance novels in the mid 80’s then I stopped for a long time. I think I started this year around April or so and I’ve been a reading demon ever since. I read a book every one to two days and Tijan has become one of my favorites. I think I started with Anti Stepbrother or Hate to Love You. I haven’t read all of her books yet because I want to always have one waiting. I’m weird I know. At first I felt like a perv reading about high school kids when I am so old but they are so good and I love the genre. So why not read about youth in my later years? I’ve always liked to hang out with young people anyway. I’m happy to have found this group to share our love for Tijan.
