What Chris is saying is true to a certain extent. Some friends will and some won't. I think that if people think this, then why are they your friends. You are in charge of who your friends are and if they drag you down then it's mainly your fault. I also disagree with him because some friends might be the best person in the world to you and if you have that type of friend, how is he bringing you down? One thing that I might agree is that some friends are forced on you and they can bring you down and sometimes it can be difficult to leave them. In conclusion, it just depends who you chose to be your friends and how is the friendship.
