For those who don't know her very well, Leonora seems to be a badly placed Princep. They see no authority in her lackluster way of things. She likes to take it slow, to evaluate. They want action, bloodshed. Just because she's inherited the title of hatred doesn't mean she harbors that hate herself. In fact, those that do know her well would say that she isn't capable of hating another person. Try as she might to seem strong, to seem like what everyone wants her to be, she has a way of letting the truth of her disposition shine through. But, for one reason or another, it seems to be ignored or avoided. Which one; she can never truly tell.

Inheritance, for many, would mean something grand,something great. Not for Leonora. Her life was predetermined, mapped out before she'd even taken her first breath. She feels it like a rope around her neck, waiting for that moment to tighten and hang her. Her mother spent days upon days instilling a sense of duty, of responsibility in the position she would take. Rule over all magical beings; who could reject such immense power? And it would be hers when her mother handed it down to her.

Leonora has found that all this hatred is getting them nothing. That peace should be returned, free of discrimination. But she is bound by the unspoken laws of tradition, and of the silent passion directed towards the humans and royal family. A broken heart, in her mind, was nothing worth starting a war for. But wars had been started for less before.

Atticus, for the most part, is what people would refer to as aloof. He doesn't seem to hold much attachment to those around him, not even his family. But, there can only be some much love for those who hold you in a light that is less than favorable. After all, he is the freak of the family. Years of having to force himself into the role of silent son, when he looked so much like the airheaded princess that no one had quite wanted or expected. Much of Atticus' response to such behavior is silence and supposed indifference. What his family has yet to find is that he's quite good at holding everything in.

When Atticus was born, there was more celebration for a baby boy. Though, there was the foreboding look of the indicator of his sex, but it was dismissed as a fluke that he'd grow out of. His parents, and the rest of his family, were decidedly wrong. As he grew older, it became apparent that all was not well with the young prince. His hair grew thicker and longer just as his older brothers' had, but his voice very barely changed. His figure and form was stuck in a near feminine state, even at the early age of eight. Frail, dainty, and not quite as strong as his exemplary older brothers. And Atticus was at a loss for all of it.

When puberty struck, he was quite elated to find that he was not fully female. But his sister, his twin, was not so pleased. He became a sore in the eyes of their family, one that masked with sickness and ignorance. A simple mutation in his genes, and he was suddenly cast aside as no more than a bastard child.

For fcs, is it like "claim six, finish them, and then add x amount more"? Or just six and done?

and his twin is gonna be embarrassed by him
