Identical
Identical written by Ellen Hopkins is a fiction book which someone my age wouldn’t really read but it’s a really good book and I couldn’t stop reading it. It’s like a combination of love sadness and afraid but its something somebody wouldn’t really read but most parts of the book you read is really good that you just can’t help but keep read. Many people might say it’s a wrong book to read but I don’t think so.
This book is about two identical twins that live with their father and mother the identical twins are sisters Kaeleight and Raeanne their father is a district- court judge and their mother is politician. They are an all – American family that love each other but never spend a lot of time together. Behind the facade each sister has her own dark secret and that’s where their differences begin.
Kaeleigh wants more action from her mom that is really never at home. For her dad she is like the misplaced focus of her father’s love. For Raeanne also needs more action from her mom but she always sees her daddy playing a little game if she lose she will do it on her own terms so she choose drugs, alcohol and other things that teenagers do. The twins never see their father as a father the things he does to Raeanne never should be done to any young child that’s what make the story so sad
The secrets like the one the twins have are not meant to be kept from each other or anyone. Pretty soon its obvious that neither sister can handle it alone. But why want they go to each other and talk? That’s the question some people may have for this book. When you read this book it might make you feel some type of way are think bake and say that nobody really has it prefect.
This book is a really good book you should read it
