Dava Shastri's Last Day, The Way Through the Woods: Of Mushrooms and Mourning, Telesa: The Covenant Keeper, Severance, The Way You Make Me Feel, Use the Power You Have: A Brown Woman’s Guide to Politics and Political Change, The Trouble with Hating You, Sweet on You: A Filipino Romance, or Donut Fall in Love (several of these have food theme, as well.).
I'm planning to read We're Not Broken: Changing the Autism Conversation, which would work for this, but there are so many options. The Sentence

XOXY, A Memoir: Intersex Woman, Mother, Activist has been on my e-reader for awhile, and I'm shocked it doesn't have more reviews yet. memoir about the author finding out she's intersex when she's in her 40s, and what it means to be intersex in this era.
The Sirens of Mars: Searching for Life on Another World sounds really interesting. The Arbornaut: A Life Discovering the Eighth Continent in the Trees Above Us might qualify too.
either Can't Escape Love, for a short option, or finish The Border: A Journey Around Russia Through North Korea, China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, and the Northeast Passage for a long one.
I've been meaning to read Firekeeper's Daughter ever since it came out. Reviews are so good, and I'm excited for the Indigenous representation too.

I want to read The Jigsaw Man. British serial killer murder mystery with a Black female protagonist.
I'll probably finish A Libertarian Walks Into a Bear: The Utopian Plot to Liberate an American Town. There's also Arctic Heat or Sweet Tea.
I'm not a big fan of historical fiction, but am considering The Brightest Star in Paris or Fortune Favors the Dead.
