163530 The book begins: "One morning, as Gregor Samsa was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in bed he had been changed into a monstrous verminous bug."

The book ends: "And it was something of a confirmation of their new dreams and good intentions when at the end of their journey their daughter got up first and stretched her young body."

This book made me think about how when you have power, you can control a lot of things and determine people's livelihood and well-being.

163530 I see that there is a person's silhouette on the cover of your book. Does the author focus primarily on one character? In my book, it seems that Gregor Samsa is the only one going through a metamorphosis because of the major physical changes he goes through to transform from a human to a bug. But as the book continues, his family members change too. They actually become productive - which would have helped him a lot when he was working on their behalf.

163530 I look forward to reading several books this summer. Because I have dyslexia this is challenging but I am up to the challenge. I also play baseball and am playing on three different teams this summer. I listen to a lot of podcasts but don't read a lot of books. I like short stories more.
