1632 Mercedes, I read My Antonia years ago and remember it fondly as an uplifting story. The plot is not strong, but I saw it as a relatable story similar to A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith or Christie by Catherine Marshall. Each was inspirational in its own way and made great summer reading for me as a young woman. For a novel with 'no plot' you might try "Mrs. Dalloway" - the only book I ever lost patience with and tossed across a room - good thing it was a paperback!
