After publishing book one I had to learn how to market. But now I think I've got that down. Or at least a good base. I think The Light Who Burns will take about a year.
Michele wrote: "I just really admire authors. I can't get words from my head to paper to write fiction. Give me a business letter and the words fly, lol!"Funny you say that Michelle. I did have a role in business communications for a few years. So I learned a lot from that as well.

Well, probably because I've always been a heavy reader. I usually read a book a day when I'm not writing.

I found it more difficult in some ways and easier in others. The Light Who Shines was a blank slate, so I didn't have to worry about making sure the stories synced. But The Light Who Shines was also my first story ever, ever, ever. :) So I had to learn how to write a book!

Okay I'm moving over and I'm ready for questions!

But you are so right that when it is, you learn a lot. I love people who walk to the beat of their own drummer. You can see that with both Blue and Maud.

That sounds really cool Michelle. :)

I totally embrace my red now and rock fun eyeglasses as well."Ohh, I'm totally jealous about the red hair. I'm just waiting for my hair to turn white. Then I'll dye it light auburn.

I was self conscious about my glasses. I am legally blind without my glasses and they are as thick as coke bottle bottoms. :) But now I wear tiny lenses that are really compressed. But, really I don't mind anyway, because it kinda marks me as a reader. :)

I'm following the party over to the first game!

Sorry about the link issue. Apparently Goodreads doesn't like standard html. They want a plain copy/paste of the links. We think we've got it straightened out now.

That's a really cute picture of wolves playing.

Okay! I'm moving over. :)
