Ah...okay. Yeah, that's one thing that worries me about powers like that. They are super overpowered if not handled well. It almost ruins the fun in it all. Anywho, thanks for your input on it.

That makes sense...I think what has me a bit thrown is when I was reading some of the posts from characters in a small attempt to try and catch up (near impossible, I swear! There are sooo many posts lol) because of something that happened. It was, actually, one of yours and sea fiends' interactions. It was whenever her character had the 'thought' that she needed to 'put on a show' and your character mentioned that she didn't need to put on a show. It had me a bit worried that any and everything I had in my posts would be 'known' by the other characters even if it wasn't meant to be. Was this particular interaction just because it was your seer, and she just has this innate way of picking up on all that jazz? Or is it sorta a common for anything to be pulled from a post and replied to because of magic being used to sense it?
Thank you for helping me, btw. I honestly don't know why you aren't a mod. You're always helpin' people on this thread lol.
Question XD. Sorry I have so many of these :/.
You mentioned in the powers thread that all witches have a low field of telapathy that allows them to communicate silently with one another. Does this mean that all witches will be able to read any other witches' thoughts? Or is it one of those things that has to be a two way thing, as in each witch has to 'let' the other in? Is there a way to make it so that other witches can't just snoop around in their minds? Or will it be like anything I write my character to think or feel will be able to be shot back at the character?

Jacob: That's the issue I had with Keiko, too. I was squeezing you for a way to make her actually useful in ya'lls big plot haha. So you'd probably be your best bet, honest.
Maybe...maybe some higher up character could have their life and magic tied to him, making it so that if he were to get injured the injury would reflect onto the other character? It could be a recent thing to have happened, maybe, as a way for someone to try and make the higher up character have a big weakness. Just a thought XD.

It didn’t injure the officer badly, but it took him a moment to come to. Once he had, he’d managed to scoop up an unconscious Keiko from the hole she’d created, and got her to the hospital, while Tyco followed on his leash. Jefferson didn’t bother to get checked out, saying he was fine, instead he stayed by Keiko’s bed with Tyco in his lap, despite the hospital staff trying to insist the officer take the puppy home, and waited for Keiko to wake up. A few hours passed, and finally the girl came to. The officer decided they needed to go to South Carolina more now than ever. He told her they would leave after his shift tomorrow, even if it was a late start into the afternoon. So Keiko, being discharged from the hospital after an hour’s of observation upon waking up, couldn’t even sleep due to all the nerves. Morning came, Jefferson went to work, and Keiko stayed wide eyed away despite exhaustion, waiting for him to come home. Five O’clock came around…and no Jefferson. She waited another thirty minutes. No Jefferson. An hour—still no Jefferson. It wasn’t like him to be late—especially not on a day like this.
He’d been getting gas after work for the long drive the two were about to start. Off duty or not, when a man started to rob the gas station, a guy like Jefferson couldn’t just stand by and watch. He did what he was supposed to do; he tried to save the day. He did…but he’d gotten shot in the process. They told Keiko it was a quick death…that Jefferson didn’t suffer. But it didn’t change anything. He was still dead. And again, Keiko was alone beyond her little Tyco. After the funeral, she did what they had been planning to do. Keiko set out to find answers because that’s what Jefferson would have wanted. She couldn’t disappoint him. She wouldn’t disappoint him.

☽Oᴛʜᴇʀ☾ Wearer of The Devil's Stone.
The Devil’s Stone [ The Lucifer Stone ]

Centuries ago, a meteor was caught in a magical orbit of energy with the moon. Upon the night of a Blood Moon as the meteor made its way from the hidden, dark side of the moon, the moon’s energy pulsed the burning rock toward Earth. At its core was a stone unlike any other on Earth. As fate would have it, none other than Lucifer himself was drawn to the stone, by its radiating energy seemed to embody the very essence of power. Lucifer, deciding to use his own blood to ignite the simmer of energy the stone held into a blaze, devised a plan to use the artifact to hunt the Original Witches along with Hekate. The gem absorbed his blood, imbuing it with the power to take the essence of power within witches with the simplest drop of a witches’ blood. One drop of blood was all it took for the stone to drink up the entire essence of any witch, leaving them mortal with the only way to ever regain their power being to obtain blood from an Original Witch. On the other side of the spectrum, the one who wears The Devil’s Stone, though what was originally called the Lucifer Stone before history took hold of the rock’s name over the years, upon their person will show power strengthened to degrees only able to be matched by the offspring of the original witches or one of the Original's themselves.
Unfortunately for Lucifer, when he happened upon Hekate, she was prepared for his fight. The Witch was far more powerful, as the first Supreme High Priestess, than what Lucifer could match even with his heightened powers imbued upon him by the stone of his own creation. In his defeat, the remaining Original's along with Hekate summoned forth a realm to serve as Lucifer's eternal prison, which he would never truly be able to escape from in full power. The stone was cast to the far reaches of the earth where Hekate prayed no mortal nor witch should ever happen upon it. Should it ever be discovered, the power that the Lucifer Stone/Devil's Stone holds could very well leave witches to waste away in the wind. The Devil's Stone is the true fatality of all Witches including the Originals'.
Once the Devil's Stone has chosen its wearer, as some might say the fabled stone is the one who chooses its wielder, no other being can attack the wearer for the stone. Physical damage is impossible to occur as the stone keeps its host in fit physical condition beyond that of normal Witches. If a Witch chose to use their powers simply to just obtain the stone, the stone will refract sharp pains into the Witch unless it be an Original themselves seeking the stone. Should another who the wielder of the stone does not trust touch it, their touch will be burned upon contact.
As for simple magic against the wielder not done solely with intents on getting to the stone, it is up to the wielder to defend themselves. The Devil's Stone's true purpose was to exhibit extraordinary power. Any harm caused upon the wielder will heal more quickly than the average Witch, but it is not impossible to kill the Wielder. Only when the stone feels an attacker is seeking it alone with magic the attacker will find their powers entirely nullified in its presence.
The Devil’s Stone was discovered a few years ago by a scientist who worked on The Wicker Project in Tennessee; he exposed it to one of the victim witches of the project. Its sharp red tip pierced the witch’s skin and drained his very essence, making him mortal. The object became a particular focus for the scientist. But he made a mistake when he changed his approach. Instead of stabbing a witch or using blood to ignite the power within it to see the effects, he wanted to see if a witch could harness the powers of the stone. So his mistake was made. The scientist gave the stone to Keiko Katsura, patient zero of The Wicker Project, to study the outcomes of what the gem would be like in the hands of a being able to wield ‘The Power’. He had no idea that once a witch becomes the Devil’s Stone’s wearer that there is a blessing of protection cast upon them, which shields and protects its wearer from any natural/physical harm. Keiko was able to escape with the help of the stone, taking the gem with her and never thinking of taking it off.

Part III
(view spoiler)[
It was here that Kevin found his chance of opportunity. He approached the parents, saying he had been sent Keiko’s files that the therapist had taken due to the fact they were now having to treat all of Hannah’s cases as evidence. Kevin told the parents that he could help, saying his practice specialized in people like Keiko who could perform unusual feats. It wasn’t really a lie—well, not all of it. The man’s ”practice” did, in fact, have a specialization in studying others with powers like Keiko, but the practice wasn’t out to help these special people. They were there to study them, use them like lab rats to learn more of the supernatural like powers they possessed. Keiko, however, was the first one they’d found with such strong power pulsing through her veins at a young age. As such, Keiko became test subject zero for The Wicker Project, a project designed to not only let the people learn more about what Keiko and others like her were was capable of and how to trigger their abilities, but also if there was a way to harness their power. If there was a way to use them. There’s always a way to exploit, and that was the main purpose behind The Wicker Project.
Since the day she’d been put into Kevin’s program, Keiko had not seen her parents, believing they’d finally managed to achieve what they wanted: freedom from what she was. So she was truly alone, now, left to be patient Zero. A magnitude of tests were performed upon the young girl over the next two years, from having her exposed to different elements, items, herbs, and what not to see if there was effects on her to the sort of tests that were strenuous mentally, physically and a combination of the two. This is where Keiko learned what a handful of the things that were weaknesses for her were, and it’s also where Keiko became more terrified of and disliking towards her abilities that she did fascinated with them. Her abilities had done nothing but get her into this situation; they weren’t worth having. It was at the age of fifteen that Keiko had had enough.
The details of what happened, of how the building she’d been held captive in for two years had been reduced to a pile of rubble with many of the scientists and lab rats caught under its collapse, had been hidden so deeply in her mind and so quickly that she wasn’t even sure how she’d ended up standing outside the collapsed structure, looking upon the place that had been her hell in ruins. It was a safety measure brought on by Keiko’s mind, to protect her from the truths of what had happened in that building before it had fallen…to protect her from recalling the dark things she’d done with her newly developing ability. Gravitational Manipulation was a powerful thing, and Kei had just had her first taste, even if she couldn’t recall it. All she knew was she was free, on her own, and needed to blend in with the world to avoid falling victim to something like this again.
Teeɴнood
So started the teen years of Keiko. What to do first, that was the burning thought that had its claws dug into the girl’s flesh. What would any child do? Go find her parents. True, there was the possibility eating away at Keiko that her parents were to blame for her two years of suffering, but the girl was all alone in the world now; she needed someone—she need the loving parents she has before her retched powers had started to show when she was eleven. And that’s exactly what she went out to search for. Managing to boost a car, Keiko drove from the state of Tennessee, where the Wicker Project had been being carried out, and back to Jackson, Mississippi, her home. Or at least, what used to be her home. Upon arrival to where her family once resided, Keiko came to discover that her mother and father no longer lived there. The home had been abandoned. Cobwebs hung in corners, dust covered surfaces and the floor, and what little furniture was left had been covered in white sheets.
Gone. They were gone. Keiko decided to face the facts that she was right; her parents had truly abandoned her. But to make matters a bit worse, a police officer, Jefferson Gale, on patrol and who had been a decent friend of the family, happened to notice the car outside of the house he knew for a fact had been vacant for nearly two years. The family that had lived there, they’d picked up and left town out of nowhere in the middle of the night—or at least that’s what the conclusion people had come to was. Jefferson had more than just a suspicious feeling that something had happened to the Katsura family, but with no evidence or leads, the case, just like the family, went away. But now, there was a car outside the house? He radioed in the license plate, being informed the car was stolen. Jefferson then proceeded to search the home. That’s when he stumbled upon a girl he recognized, though a few years older than the last time he’d seen her, sitting on the floor, completely silent and unmoving. Broken, he’d decided was the right term, that’s what the teen looked like: a broken girl.
Even upon trying to talk to the girl, Jefferson got no response. She just continued to stare straight ahead, unspeaking and unhindered by his presence. However, when he approached Keiko and asked her to stand up, assisting by lightly grasping both of her hands and lifting, she did so. Now on her feet, the girl was at least being compliant when it came to walking. He took her to the police station where she was to undergone a psych evaluation. But she said nothing, continuing to be completely quiet. They’d decided the best thing to do for Keiko was to admit her into an asylum for the time being. Jefferson wasn’t a fan of that plan, but he couldn’t disagree with them. Clearly something more had happened to the Katsura family than anyone had thought, and it had taken its toll on Keiko. The officer took to visiting the young teen at the psyche ward, even if for the first few weeks she did not say anything.
Kei had begun to interact with Jefferson, playing card and board games with him, tongue still caught by whatever had happened to her; that was until the first month had passed. Finally, Kei started to speak, but only to Jefferson and never about what had happened to her or her family—not that she even knew what had happened to her parents if anything beyond them leaving. It was a huge start, though, the small conversations. Eventually, Jeff decided that the best thing for Keiko would be to leave the ward and live with him. He’d always thought she was a good kid, and he seemed to be the only one left for her to lean on. The first few months of living with the officer, Keiko seemed to be recovering to a state of normalcy, but as she became more normal, her abilities started to once again show themselves. Like her therapist, thankfully, Jeff wasn’t scared off by the things he started to realize the girl was capable of. She needed his help, and that’s what he was going to give her, though it did take some getting used to what with magic being something the officer had never expected to exist even it would explain a lot of things. Plus, there had been rumors around town that there was, quote, “Something just not right,” said about Keiko before the family had went missing.
The officer started to try and encourage the girl to use her abilities, to learn more about them, but she refused, telling him that she hated them and wanted to be normal. He didn’t push, realizing that whatever had happened that she was still not telling him had to do with those powers. For a year, Keiko lived with the officer, neither of them speaking of her abilities, but it didn’t keep others from giving her those stares and whispering as she walked by. Normal, she’d remind herself, just act normal. Just fit in. As the next two years passed and her abilities started to grow even stronger and more out of her control, Keiko had to put her faith into Jefferson, to lean on him for support and guidance. He promised her he wasn’t going to go anywhere, which was the key thing Keiko clung to, and he began to tell her that the only way to get control over her powers was to start facing them. So Keiko slowly started to learn more of her powers, having Jefferson there to provide encouragement and support the whole time.
As she neared her eighteen birthday, Keiko began to have dreams and nightmares of some place she could have sworn she’d seen before, though she didn’t know where. Keiko wasn’t aware that her dreams were the forgotten memories of her parents, but she did have a feeling that if she went to that place, she’d find out more about herself—hell, she may even be able to know once and for all what she was. Jefferson told her they’d travel to this Grievance Ridge in South Carolina that Keiko kept having dreams of after she graduated and her birthday passed.
Aѕceɴѕισɴ & Receɴт
Her eighteen birthday, Jefferson gave Keiko one of the puppies from a litter of German Shepherds who were meant to be trained for the K-9 unit, thinking Keiko could train little Tyco to protect her when she flew from the nest, so to speak. The pup was the perfect gift, and Keiko couldn’t have been happier. The two took little Tyco to the park, everyone having been gone due to the sun’s setting already having happened. Everything was good in her life. Keiko was happy, and in the next few days, they’d be going together to Grievance Ridge to finally try and find the key that may unlock all the things the girl needed to know about herself. Everything was so great…
While in the park, something…happened to her. It happened out of nowhere. One moment she felt fine, the next it felt as if from all directions something was pushing her, putting such an intense amount of pressure on her body that she felt like she was going to crush into dust. It felt as if everything literally was revolving around her in that moment, that the planets in the sky had picked her as their new sun and began revolving around her gravitational draw. This, she’d thought for a moment, this was what a blackhole felt like. Nothing but an intensive pressure meant to crumple anything into dust that got within it. She was both, the blackhole and the poor little thing sucked into it. Then in an instance, that entire feeling reversed, sending a wave of repulsion in all directions. The ground beneath her feet sunk into the shape of a semi-sphere with her being in the deepest part of the four foot deep, and everything too close was thrown back like ragdolls, this including Jefferson. Lucky for little Tyco, Jefferson had a good hold on the pup and kept him from getting hurt.

☽Ƥєяѕσηαℓιту☾ Keiko is a hard girl to put into words, being a composition of traits and emotional hangups that are at constant clash with one another. Curiosity has been a guide of sorts for Kei since she was a little thing, even having a fascination and fixation upon her abilities when they started to show. However, when the stares of fright and disgust as well as the counterpart approach of full avoidance of looking upon her began alongside the whispers, Keiko eventually moved her focus on everything but herself and her abilities. As such, she's grown accustomed to avoiding talking about herself or letting others in because she's afraid either she or they would uncover things about her she wanted to remain blissfully ignorant towards. Her true nature is to follow her curiosity, to learn more of who she is, but thanks to a string of fallouts in her life, Kei battles against the urge, even now when she knows she has to finally face whatever is inside of her.
Since she doesn't tend to like to be alone with her thoughts, Keiko ends up in social settings, liking to be around people and interact with them. However, this is also one of the worst things for her to do considering she is dead set on not getting close to anyone if she can help it. Throughout her life, so many people have either disappointed her, changed, or disappeared; due to the fact that Kei is a passionate creature by nature, she doesn’t tend to do things half way. She’s either attached wholeheartedly to her friends and romantics or things remain platonic and on neutral ground. So losing someone she cares for is more than just a painful little sting.
Keiko is a driven girl, nothing being capable of stopping her from achieving her goal besides death itself—well, that’s mostly true. Kei, like most, has her hang-ups; for her, the only things besides the grave that can deter Keiko are herself and those that manage to slip through the cracks, into her carefully guarded heart. The young woman, despite the independence and strength others usually see, finds herself questioning herself, usually along the fronts of if she’s good or bad considering the powerful and frightening powers she holds. Had she been raised in a home where she’d known what her being was a gift rather than an abnormal and freakish curse, she’d be one of the most confident, independent, and strong witches around. But alas, she didn’t get that chance. Instead Kei is left questioning what she is, and that question leaks into the realm of who she is. But finally Keiko is forcing herself to wade into the unknown waters; she’s finally going to have to face the struggles of finding out what and who she is supposed to be.

Keiko's mother, Sakura Katsura, maiden name being Hamano, had once held a strong position within the coven of Grievance Ridge. As Lead Guardian, Sakura was pitted with the duty of protecting the coven in any and all ways from cleaning-up to ensure secrecy to protecting of the coven members and everything in between. However, before she became aware of what was happening, Sakura had begun to mix business with pleasure. A mere mortal by the name of Tomi Katsura, he was oblivious to Hunters and the true nature of what being a witch in a coven meant, but once he had picked up on their existence, the supernatural became an obsession. He’d started chipping away at anything he could find that may help him uncover more, which had him getting a bit too close for comfort to the coven’s existence for the witch’s taste.
Tasked with the job of steering Tomi away, Sakura was to keep Tomi from getting any more near their secrets. She'd have been able to accomplish her assignment had it not been for one tiny hiccup. The two found themselves enticed with one another, and ended up drawing themselves into a bond that only powerful magic could even attempt to break. Needless to say, she had done worse than fail her objective. Her first big mistake was Sakura's withholding the bond from the Seer. The second was trying the couple’s trying to hide their bond from the Coven Council. Once discovered, it was too late. The deed had been done, and the couple’s bond sealed. Sakura and Tomi had married in secret, neither the mortal’s nor the witch’s family having known the two were lovers. The more troublesome bit, however, was the fact Sakura was pregnant.
For such a disgraceful treachery against the coven, both Tomi and Sakura had their memories banished; Sakura's powers were taken by the High Priest, and the couple was had the notion to move from the Coven’s territory embedded into their minds. But before Sakura's memory was taken, she had to watch as her familiar, Tyler, was executed as a punishment for her mistakes so she’d have to suffer the sever agony the breaking of the bond among her familiar and herself, leaving her to always have an emptiness within her that she’d never be able to fill or understand.
Now with the strong urge to move implanted into their minds, Sakura and Tomi left Grievance Ridge, ending up in Jackson, Mississippi, never daring to look back. With no memory of her powers nor either even knowing of such a thing as magic, the two were to start living a mundane life. Dreams and nightmares still managed to seep into both minds, giving glimpses of their forgotten pasts. But with the birth of their daughter, Keiko, neither of the parents put much thought into the dreams…that was until daddy’s pride and mother’s joy started exhibiting some odd abilities that no normal child should be capable of—or any human for that matter. Concern filled the parents at first, followed closely by fear…fear not only for their little Kei but also fear of their child. They placed the girl into an intensive form of therapy and had tests performed upon her. Thankfully, Kei seemed to be responding well, or so they thought. Yes, she was still odd, showing glimpses of those unnatural abilities here and there, but they were calmed. Out of sight, out of mind…or at least that’s how it was for them. But not Keiko.
Cнιldнood
The newly started family had to make roots fast; Tomi, with his medical licenses, picked up a job as a doctor in the state of Mississippi, while Sakura waited on getting a job till after the duration of her pregnancy. Sakura had planned on returning to work as a reporter; however once Keiko was born, Sakura decided she would rather stay at home, taking to blogging and the odd writing job here and there online. Since the child was born, Kei had proven to be a handful. Her curious little mind alongside her quick learning, had Keiko always getting into messes. There was nothing troublesome, really, to happen to the family during the younger years of Keiko’s life. No, life was…normal, or at least as normal as humans could have it with the only problems being the typical mundane issues that plague any family. It wasn’t until some rather odd things started to occur that seemed to always link to Keiko that the family hit their first non-mundane bump in their new life.
Her parents decided to try and get Keiko to believe that her powers were all in her imagination, hoping that if she thought they weren’t real that her powers would stop being used. It wasn’t enough for them just to tell her, though, so they decided to take her to therapy when she was at the age of twelve in hopes that a professional, Hannah Arms, telling Kei that everything was in her mind would do the trick. However, they’re plan backfired.
During the first few sessions, one or both of her parents sat in to ensure that Keiko did not display her powers. The young girl, not wanting to get into trouble, did not show any of her abilities to Hannah, even when asked to. It wasn’t until the fifth session that Hannah asked Sakura and Tomi to leave the room that the therapist got Keiko to finally open up. Now knowing that Keiko was in fact telling the truth and that it wasn’t just in her mind, the therapist didn’t know how to approach the situation. Dr. Arms couldn’t lie to the child; that would do no one any good, especially Keiko. A therapist’s job was to help their patients, not make them worse. So instead of trying to deter Kei and make her think she was just imagining things, Hannah decided to use their sessions to try and help Keiko learn more about herself and what she could do. Of course, the therapist told Keiko to not mention any of their sessions to her parents, saying that Kei should start pretending that she was starting to believe she wasn’t magical. Dr. Arms knew that if the parents were aware that instead of trying to stop their daughter from believing her gifts that Hannah was encouraging Kei that Sakura and Tomi would make the child stop coming,
The therapist kept detailed notes of Kei, their sessions having span over a year’s time. The parents could see strong improvements in Keiko, the girl having not spoken of her ‘magic’ and starting to seem normal. It was great. Keiko was getting the support she desperately needed. But like most good things, it came to an end. Kei’s file managed to get in the hands of someone, a man by the name of Kevin Rich, who was very interested to learn more about Keiko’s abilities...and not in the way the therapist was. No, Kevin’s agenda did not center on patting the child on the back and helping her. Kevin, through some leaking of information to the Katsura parents, exposed the truth of what the therapist had been doing, and then he waited for what he knew would happen.
Kevin waited for Keiko to do what any thirteen year old girl who’d had something taken from her; he waited for Keiko to rebel, knowing that she’d do what any predicable child; Keiko would do the thing that would spite her parents the most…which happened to be using her abilities opening in front of her parents and even others.. That was all it took for the parents to become desperate for some sort of out, they decided to give into Keiko’s demands to resume her sessions with Hannah Arms. What harm was it doing, after all? The past year had been such a blessing, and if it was because Keiko was getting the help she needed rather than the sort of help the parents wanted, then they’d accept that. However, upon arrival at the place Dr. Arms worked, the family discovered that the therapist had vanished, supposedly having left town because she had been involved in selling off the confidently information of her clients to others as well as exploiting some of the clients. They’d never know the truth…

Due to her lack of control over and knowhow towards her abilities, what Keiko can actively and purposely do is limited to smaller feats. However, if Kei's mental state is compromised by emotions of some sort or another, her abilities can manifest to their greater strengths, often to a destructive extent, that she is not in control of.
↬ Matter Manipulation(view spoiler)[Matter Manipulation, a subpower of the near limitless power of telekinesis, allows Keiko the ability to influence matter, being capable of reshaping and manipulating anything with mass/physical form. This ability does not allow her to create matter. Whenever using this ability, the matter she uses must already be in existence.
(hide spoiler)]
↬ Gravitational Manipulation(view spoiler)[Keiko is capable of shaping and manipulating the force of gravitation, a natural phenomenon by which all physical bodies attract each other, and gravitons, hypothetical elementary particles that mediate the force of gravitation. This ability allows for the bending of gravity to make the environment very “heavy” or “light”, cause objects to “fall” toward another object instead of the earth, flatten objects, and generate miniature black holes to compress objects into oblivion. She can repel and attract matter and energy regardless of its mass or move objects in a manner similar to telekinesis.

↬ Aerokinesis(view spoiler)[Keiko, born a Gemini, has a natural connection to the element of air that allows her to create, shape, and manipulate air, the common name given to the layer of atmospheric gasses and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth’s gravity, and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephrys, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.

↬ Psychic Shield (view spoiler)[The user is immune or highly resistant to any/all mental intrusion, including psychic or empathic powers, hypnosis, illusions, deception, etc. Mind readers only “hear” static, while mind controllers are incapable of manipulating those shielded.
Once in control of the ability to a decent extent, users will be protected, to an extent, from mental intrusions of all sorts. The power of the other trying to penetrate the user's shield will determine just how much the user can protect themselves. They also have illusion awareness, and they can use it to create a psychic 'shadow' on themselves to cloak them from others trying to track them using psychic based abilities.
Psychic shield does not protect from physical abilities or attacks.
(hide spoiler)]
↬ True Illusion(view spoiler)[ The power to manipulate illusions and make them real. Users can create illusions so powerful they outweigh reality. They can induce illusions into others and themselves, and freely shift the phenomenon from illusion to reality and back at any moment.
Limitations
~Excessive use runs a high risk of the user or subject losing track of reality, and gradually falling into madness.
~May affect only what isn't already there, such as bringing in new people or items.

↬ [Dᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ] When put in simplistic words, Keko is breathtaking. With smooth and milky skin, slick, dark hair, and slimming, petite figure, Kei embodies one of the many forms of feminine beauty. In truth, she need not wear make-up, but she has always been a fan of her eyes, rarely being caught with the dark brown gems being dolled up with a thin trace of eyeliner, mascara, and eye shadow.
↬ [Hᴀɪʀ] Her dark brown hair usually either bears worn curls or has been straightened.

☼ Dedicated - When Keiko manages to have her curiosity or interest piqued, the young woman can find herself being guided by a burning form of dedication and desire to learn more. When it comes to people, the times she fails to stay free of emotional attachment, Kei will push herself to the edges of the world and then some for the person.
☼ Seeming Normal – Keiko, for the longest time, had forced herself to blend with the mundane world. She’s quiet skillful at conversation, allowing her to fit into social situations. Others often find themselves drawn to her smile and the light-hearted vibe she puts off. She’s learn to blend, to keep the dark and unknowns of herself from shining through to the naked eyes.
☼ Loyalty – Though Keiko tries not to put trust in others, she herself is quite loyal. What’s that saying? Treat others how you want to be treated? Kei wants to be able to trust others, and though she doesn’t realize it, she’s become loyal to a fault almost in efforts to prove to herself that trust can exist.

☁ Opening Up - Keiko, despite how much she longs to have companionship with regards to friends, family, and romantics, finds herself actively avoiding getting close to anyone. So long as she doesn't let her guard down and start to care about the person, she can be around others and even act like any normal person would. But she's not going to let herself care...she can't. Something will always change them or take them away at some point or another, and she can't deal with losing someone else.
☁ Emotions - Beings as the young woman doesn't like to get close to people out of fear of losing them at some point in some way or another, she tries to keep herself emotionally closed off. However, she's one of the sorts who requires and desires companionship, always wanting to have someone to share life with and be close to. It's a constant internal struggle that can often reflect externally.
☁ Power Control - Beings as Kei was not born into a coven or even a household with someone to guide, teach, and encourage her with regards to her magical abilities, Keiko has very little control over her abilities beyond keeping them suppressed. Smaller feats, she has learned, but nothing too extensive.
☽Ƒαтαℓ Ƒℓαω☾ Facing the world alone is a hard task, and for most it’s an impossible one. For this challenge to even be thinkable, the challenger needs to at least have full faith and trust of themselves—to know who they are and embrace it. Keiko has turned her sights upon this task, having come to the conclusion that someone’s word and their loyalties mean nothing. Near everyone Kei has proven to be a disappointment if not downright sickening when their layers are folded back. The only two who had never let her down did so by dying. So deal with continuous disappointment? Or face the world alone? She picked the latter. However, this wouldn’t have been a fatal flaw if the young woman trusted herself. But how could she trust herself when she couldn’t even control herself? She couldn’t. And this is her biggest fault: facing the world without anyone to put faith in, trust, or turn to, even herself.

Jacob, read over Kellan, and I think he looks great :D. I enjoy that in a group that seems rather dark that you've created a still kind and 'innocent' feeling character. He gives off a sort of heroic vibe, though he has his hold backs still what with him being awkward socially and what not. I think he's nicely balanced and look forward to seeing how he handles things that get thrown his way :D.

I'm just wanting to double check: powers aren't seen until, at the earliest usually, the age of 11, right? In most cases, it's the basic powers as well all witches have; however, there are cases where a witch can start showing their stronger individualized powers prior to ascension still, yeah? I'm pretty sure the info said all of this in a bit of a different format, but I just wanted to dot my i's and cross my t's before just jumpin' into what I think is right :).

Jacob, I'll read him over better and give you some opinions, then :). It'd be easier if there were specific things you wanted to know, but ah well XD.
KT, that can be the worst! Having a character idea but having so much other stuff already to work with and created. If you think you can handle it, though, I'd say go for it!

Bleh. So, I absolutely despise writing personalities. Like the are the worst part of any bio for a character to ever have to be included. It's like asking me to tell you about someone I've only heard things about instead of having gotten to know them in person. Its like I know a bit about her persona, but how she'll actually act in in written form I won't know until I write her. *grumbles* I'll do my best, but know I'm not happy about it XD.
Jacob wrote: "It's like May something or another Graduation was supposed to be held and well that went to shit and back."Any chance it could be a day or two passed may the 21st? I'm having her being a Gemini, and I wanted her ascension to have scared/pushed her into looking more into the stuff she can do instead of trying to keep it submerged. So if it were after her birthday a few days (which can be the 21st of may at the earliest), it'd fit up time line perfect for that situation. But if not, I can have her pushed it off for like a year. It doesn't matter, really, I'll just need to know so I can do her history better :).
Thank you for your help!

What's the current date in the RP if you had to guess?

Was there anything specific you were wanting feedback on, Jacob? Or just a broad, overall opinion?

@Jacob, that's pretty much what I was asking for :). So there is a plot. I really think you should post that somewhere because otherwise peiple wont know that humans now know about witches--or at least I wouldn't have known this happened.
Im on my phone and sleepy, so I wont ask any more questions right now :).
Also, I wanted to go ahead and say that you, sir, CAVED hard. What was all that 'i will never make decorative profiles' stuff you used to say? Lol. Look at you now!
@fiend, so the plot is that stuff is gonna happen? That's brilliant! ;)

Thank ya :). I sent you a message just now sorta relating to character talk.
So, I've read most stuff that I can hunt down info wise. I didn't really see anything about what the plot set up for right now is. Where is that? Like what explains the stuff going on right now (not specific character plots or anything, just the group set up plot thingy)? Is it just that there is this town with witches in it and sh*ts going to hell?

@Jacob, me either lol. I guess I was asking more along the lines of if there's a particular species that could use another face more than another. I'll figure it out, though :).
