I think what I am currently struggling with is living in the US and hearing a similar narrative everywhere and so in my casual reading time, it's hard to hear even more about how women are held back by our society and all this. Like I know! I'm trying to disassociate over here 😂

i need to finish before jumping into book 2 of this. i really need to plan by BR more thoughtfully. 4 series reads in 1 month is unrealistic

i'm enjoying this so far. it reminds me of the Veronica Speedwell novels but with the fairy element

The only reason this was on my TBR was because a friend recommended it. I’m still not clear who she is but I like her perspective. The first part I enjoyed so we shall see if I continue feeling connected

I spent so much time overthinking if I'm going to do the audio or reading the physical book and now the month is over lol. Brittni, I'm down to do a BR for the series starting in June

I also can't do TV, I feel like I use all my energy to find something to watch that I make it about 15 minutes.

Finished (view spoiler)[ love the little wedding and that Amelia and Tor came to support them. idk if I actually like Rory's character. like she says she likes being bad but then her example is tying Angelo's brother's shoe laces?? I'm glad Angelo killed the kid who killed his mom but it seemed way to easy. I thought there was going to be more of a hunt but he just returned home and made people uncomfortable at the bar they just happened to be at?
