Most of the things that I would most like to know probably can't be answered here as they will probably be answered in later books - for example I am really curious as to why Kyran can mentally feel his family, but his parents can't feel him?

It was very sad, the image of young Kyran waiting for his parents to return and believing that they had abandoned him. I am sure there is much more to be told here.

BTW. I love the idea of a prequel / novella writing about the older generation. Maybe another series perhaps... (asking a bit too much maybe???)
