159659 Hello, I am new to this group, but over the past year, I have really gotten interested in philosophy, gender studies, and queer theory. I am currently unaware of where to start with my studies though so I thought that I should turn to this group to see what everyone in here would recommend. I currently have the History of Human Sexuality by Michel Foucault on my bookshelf and have a few books by Judith Butler checked out from the library. What other books do you recommend for someone who is just starting out with queer theory? (Also, do not worry about reading level. I have read plenty of difficult feminist texts in my classes in college and am about to start graduate school so I can handle things that are a bit heavier.) Also, I have a particular interest in Marxism and queer theory and am currently reading the Politics of Everybody. Do y'all recommend any other books that pertain specifically to queer Marxism? Thanks! :)
