Okay, that makes sense. Pricing is a minefield. There's so much conflicting advice, but I get what you're saying. I definitely need to explore other selling platforms further. Thanks Tammie!

Oh, really? Thank you Tammie. When I published the first in January it seemed like the easiest option. How easy is it to sell from your own website?

I kept the price of my debut novel low because I'm a new author. A percentage of each sale will go to Dogs Trust charity though, so are people likely to pay a bit extra bearing this in mind? The book is exclusive to Amazon for 90 days. Should I up the price to coincide with the publication of book two, keeping that one low?
Also, would it be a good time to do a free promotion on book one, when book two comes out?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I recently published my first book with KDP select. Should I do the same with book two due to be published soon, and stay exclusive to them for 90 days, or try something else? Any advice would be appreciated.
