Mordecai laughed. He jumped down from his bed. "Oh no bad boy, bad boy"

"Because even if you did you were doing it because you thought it was the right thing to do. Just don't be too hard on yourself okay?"

"No. Don't even think that." Khit put his hand on hers. "It's completely my fault okay. I wasn't careful enough. You were just doing what you thought was right."

"You did as much as I did." Khit smiled. "I'm taking a nap. Jut please come back once a day. It's boring here."

"As good as I could be given the current situation. At least we saved someone though." Khit put down the spellbook.

"Hey. I'm bored. Have you been good?"

Khit was holding a book above his head.

A few days later Laputa gave Khit a brace. It was pretty much thin strips of metal snaking around his body from his legs to his stomach that was then tightly wrapped in bandages. "This is to keep your bones in place while they heal. You should be able to move around on crutches in a week or two. For now you have to stay laying down or your bones will heal wrong. And do NOT take the brace of. We elites do heal quicker than most though. You're lucky you lived."
Khit chuckled. "Thanks for the reassurance." He closed his eyes again. He wanted to see how ember was doing, she hasnt come to visit him.
