I have faith in Sam Raimi and Susan (although authors don't normally get a say in this) to stay as true to the book as they can and to not gloss over the gore and the fighting because, for me at least, those elements play a huge part for the world building

Totally agree. WHo cares how they look, if they can't act their looks won't safe the movie.

As for directors: Sam Raimi will direct so we know the horror and gore will be on point. xD

Raffe: Gaspard Ulliel but only with his longer hair xD and because I haven't found any actor yet that resembles his book description, but I think he not only needs to be a hottie/pretty but also have some rough edges.

Penryn: No idea :( haven't found the "one" yet but No to: Lily Collins, Cara Delevigne, all those suddenly hip actresses that get cast in every movie although their acting is mediocre at best (sorry if this sounded a little bit harsh). Actually I would really love to have someone unknown/just breaking into the scene to be cast.

I'm so happy that I'm not the only one who's annoying her friends with freaking out over a book xD And I think that maybe all that frustration Pen and Raffe have because of their feelings for each other will come to a boiling point leading to a second kiss and who knows maybe more (and no none of you are perverted for thinking about having a steamy scene in the book :) )

Ok so you all know how artists write songs for the book adaptations or even curate the whole soundtrack (e.g: Lorde for Mockingjay Part 1)? Well I really need a collab between Daughter and Hozier for all the lovey/cute scenes!

My mantra right now: "You have waited for over a year now Natalie you can do 51 more days!!!" xD

I know that Pen or Raffe dying is (luckily) reeeeeeealllllly far fetched but since reading(view spoiler)[Allegiant (hide spoiler)] where the Main Character dies for a stupider reason than if Pen/Raffe would die in EOD I just can't trust a book that easily!!! xD But I have high hopes for Susan Ee to deliver an amazing conclusion although I'm also thinking it will be bitter sweet but nonetheless awesome! 51 Days left woop :D

I agree with you: there probably isn't a way for them to be together at the end :( also I'm really scared of someone maybe dying I mean it's possible that someone isn't going to make it to the end. :(
Oh man what if Raffe or Pen dies while trying to protect each other/Paige/her mom or what if Paige dies while trying to save Pen during a fight???? AAAAAARRRRRRGH why can't it be May already????

I discovered Angelfall while browsing through Goodreads on the hunt for new reading material and now my friends have the pleasure of hearing me fangirl about the series. xD
My favorite character of course is Penryn. She's everything a great heroine should be.
As for fave quotes I have way too many.
