157649 I said it in the other thread but... Sebastian Stan for Raffe.

I can get on board with Bonham-Carter and Emily Blunt (because I love them both to bits) but I'd take anyone, literally anyone else over Portman. I don't even know why haha.

Natalie mentioned Uma Therman - which would be such an awesome choice. Though I don't know if she's ever played someone as crazy as Penryn's Mum.

I wouldn't actually mind Yvonne Strahovski or Naomi Watts as Penryn's Mum or Laylah.

Sebastian Stan would be another good choice for 'Burnt'. Or even as Raffe if he buffed himself up a bit like he did in Captain America.

How about Mark Strong for Uriel?

Kevin Durand is brilliant.

And I didn't know how much I wanted a Mark Strong Uriel until you planted the idea in my head. I always sort of imagined Uriel as a mobsterman. Like Johnny Depp in Public Enemies. Strong's a different feel but I love it. He's a suave mofo. The only downside to a MarkStrongUriel is that he'd maybe be a little too likable.

Jai Courtney as Burnt is another awesome choice.

157649 Kevin Durand as Belial.

I said it in the other thread like this and I'll keep pedaling it because I really want it to happen.

Kevin Bacon as Uriel.

Uriel is the villain you hate, Beliel is the secondary, sort of likable villain. A part of his back story was explained and you can sort of see how he became such a tit.

A Beliel played by Kevin Durand just fits for me.

This.

Haha. Lautner's a little young but I reckon he'd be better than Amell.

And Kevin Durand would make such a good Baliel.
157649 Worst: Kristen Stewart, Robbie Amell.

Don't really have a best but Caitlin Stasey or Mae Whitman and Alfie Enoch would make an awesome Penryn and Raffe.

They've got a bit more weight to their acting compared to actors I can see being chosen (but I kind of hope won't be) like Chloe Grace Moretz or Taylor Luatner.

Yeah, probably not Raffe or Pen.
Someone's gotta die though. My money's on the Mom.

You! It's like you've read my mind. I want Penryn and Raffe together so bad but I just don't see it happening either. Raffe wouldn't get with a human no matter how much he wants to and I can't see Penryn becoming an angel. Someone mentioned Raffe saying that Penryn looked good with wings - but he looked sad saying it. It's just another reminder that Penryn isn't an angel, I reckon. Not a foreshadowing of her actually becoming one (even if I hope she does).

The theory about Uriel's wings becoming deomon's ones never occured to me but it's so brilliant, man. Ee lingered too long on their description, too often.
