Welcome, Travis. I've actually read some of your books. I really liked Dark Heart: Images of a City, but I haven't been able to get the next two books.

Here's my Wordy Poem.

VENGENCE

The warriors roll out - A lean, mean fighting machine,
The capture of the Lord of the House began this,
The warriors would see its end.
The battle is a bloody and brutal sight,
The grass, once green, now a crimson red.

THE WATCH (67 words)

(view spoiler)[Maximus was crawling through the attic. He knew he shouldn't be there, but something called to him. In a small wooden box a glow emanated. Trembling, Maximus opened the box - a gold watch. Fear took hold - his grandfather appeared in the reflection.

Maximus dropped the watch, as the reflection spoke, "This is my watch, boy! You never touch it!"

He raced out of the attic in tears. (hide spoiler)]

For our first Wild Write challenge, I'd like you to write a Shorter than Short Story . This means that within as few words as possible, you will need to come up with a story that follows a few rules.

It should become clearer once you start...

The first challenge rules are:

1. Plotline: The story needs to be about someone finding something that they shouldn't have.

2. Character: At least one character needs to be afraid of the found item for some reason.

To write well, I always believe you have to be well read. I like to read all kinds of books from fact to fiction.

My bookshelves in my living room are filled with novels such as Hunger Games Trilogy, New Heroes, Countdown Series, Redwall Series, Ranger's Apprentice Series, A Song of Fire & Ice Series (i.e. Game of Thrones), plus many, many, many more.

My name is Tobias Wolf and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I have decided to set up this writing page to get myself writing and join with others in something I'm passionate about. I enjoy writing. There is not one particular genre that I keep to, however, I do lean towards fantasy, sci-fi and action fiction.
