So it looks like this is the topic that won the poll for a group read! WOOOO I will have another poll up either Monday or Tuesday so we can vote on which short story collection we want to read :)

Whether or not you knew that the book was a TV show or even if you didn't know the TV show was a book, read something that has made it to the small screen!

Find a book that was deemed controversial for the content it presented to it's readers. Literature is meant to provoke thought and educate us about the world we live in. So branch out and read something that society has deemed to be too controversial for our shelves!

Dive into the world of theater with a play.

Do some digging on the internet and find an author that shares your initials.

Embrace your holiday spirit and read a book set during Christmas.

Some options for this one include books like The Little Prince, which was originally written in French, or any manga current translated into English.

I'm going to expand this one to take place in our home state because those of us who live in a small town will have some problems finding books that take place in the town we grew up in.

Consult those TBR piles! Pick a random book and make that your book for this topic.

Go to your local bookstore or to a library and pick a book off the shelf by an author you've never read or never heard of. Or take some suggestions of authors on this thread too!

A book with pictures and some awesome plot developments! These are super quick reads usually so they are perfect for an all year read-a-thon kind of deal.

Let's try and stay away from Harry Potter (unless you've never read them and then you better jump on that train!) and branch out into some other magical books.
