There's a list here on Goodreads of books based on true stories.

Oh my no, no middle initial! If mine were SK, I'd choose Stephen King.

It had disappeared, but it's back again. Weird!

What happened to the challenge sheets thread? Mine has disappeared.

I've started many trilogies and then, pow, there's a 4th book!

Oh I didn't think of history and future as antonyms, thanks I like that! I already have a female author and 2015 publish. And the book was just ok for me, to many plot lines. It's a possible candidate for my states teen book list, I don't think it will make the cut. To many other really good books.

I have 1 more book to read for ARTBA, there are tons I could read, just wondered if it would work. Thanks!

It's a book I had to read for the Arkansas Teen Book Award Committee called Glory O' Brien's History of the Future. It's about a high school aged girl, her mother committed suicide when she was very young and due to some weird circumstance she can see some people's past and future. There is a graduation and high school girl drama. Nothing really takes place at school.

Ok so does the setting HAVE to be in the high school, or can the characters just be in high school?

I was having a hard time finding an author with ST initials. I found a couple, but wasn't really interested in them. But now I'm excited I found An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir.

Yeah well my birth year was.....a while ago, not really looking forward to reading it! LOL

The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender is one of my favorites. It is a very strange story, but it is beautiful. I loved the language.

No vampires or anything. Not about satan. It's actually historical fiction, I think.

And Stacy, I live in Arkansas and there's a book set in and around my hometown. I'm going to read it, it's called The Devil's Backbone.

I ran across this in case we would accept home states as an option.

Maybe because I'm on an iPad.

Yes, it brings me to the spreadsheet, but it won't let me add my name or anything.
