I started this a few years ago and just finished it.

According to the book jacket, this is Sue Monk Kidd's first novel. She wrote two memoirs before this book though.

Sad, but real look at the lives of three Lost Boys of Sudan.

I just finished Inferno and am using it for this category. Not my favorite Robert Langdon book.

I agree! I read this on a whim when I had nothing else on hand to read.

This is kind of a stretch;-)

I liked this one after I got into it...

I loved this book too! The writing is stunning! I didn't even realize it won the Pulitzer until I looked at this page.

Ok - this is a big stretch but seeing "Dorothy" and "Die" in the same sentence is an antonym to me. Yes - Dorothy from THE WIZARD OF OZ. It seems completely opposite of what we all think of. Dorothy can't be bad, can she?

I am using this book for this category too. It's a beautiful cover!

Graphic novel about John Lewis and his start with the Civil Rights Movement.

We used this as a whole-school read aloud in 2013. So glad that all the 6th, 7th and 8th graders in our building at the time got to share Auggie's experience!

Ok - I can't actually find out her birthdate BUT I assume she is 30 or younger. I enjoyed this book:-)

I've owned this since it was published but hadn't read it before.
