THANK YOU!!! This is exactly what I like to use - spreadsheets are too much for me. I really don/t have time to remember to do one mroe thing. I just print these out and keep folded in my purse, then every few weeks or so I pop on to Goodreads adn update reading lists.

152458 I'm reading The Princess Bride this week for another challenge and didn't realize that it takes place in the 1970s!! Yeah!!! Although....I was thinking of using this one for the read the book of a movie you've already seen. *sigh* maybe I'll read it for that and then Joy Luck Club for a book set in 1970s. So many books, so many challenges........

152458 I came here with very little idea of what to read for the 1970s - there are so many books listed in just the first two pages that I could probably read a 1970s book for every prompt on the PopSugar challenge!!! Next year's extra challenge for myself?!? :)

152458 Title: The Handmaid's Tale
Author: Margaret Atwood
Is feminism a topic you will read again? Why or why not?
Yes, I would read about feminism again. I enjoy reading books with strong female characters. I’m interested in getting some more fiction or historical fiction books on feminism.

Would you recommend?
I would, but it wasn’t an earth shattering read for me. I’ve been trying to think why I wasn’t as impressed by the book as I thought I would be. I think it could be because I’ve read SOOO many similar books (dystopian, females who push for what is right). Although, I have a feeling this is probably the oldest one I’ve read with this theme. I’m looking forward to watching the series.

152458 Sooo....I am fascinated by the Galapagos Islands and Peru (specifically Machu Picchu). While Peru is a country, Galapagos Islands are a part of Ecuador. I'd LOVE to read a book (novel, historical fiction, or well done non-fiction) about either or both. I ran across Galápagos by Kurt Vonnegut, but not sure about books on Peru/Machu Picchu. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
152458 1. In what format are you reading "The Handmaid's Tale"? I am reading/listening to a kindle e-book with audiobook option. I’m glad I have the e-book, too, because I didn’t realize there were no quotation marks. Also, the narrator has a great voice and delivery.

2. Have you watched the Hulu series "The Handmaid's Tale" before reading the book? If not, do you think you'll watch the series after reading this book? Nope! But I wanted to read it before I started watching it.

3. What made you choose "The Handmaid's Tale" for this prompt? If you've read it before for something other than this challenge (or a different challenge), what prompted you to read it then? It’s been on my To Read list for awhile. I’m also doing the Around the Year challenge and this week’s prompt was a book with a body part in the title, so it fit! Otherwise I would have read it for the Literary Fiction prompt.
