For the 2024 challenge do we have to read the prompts in order or does that matter?"

It doesn't matter. I never read in order. Mostly just put a book wherever it fits.

152458 I'm old. I need something set in 1928!
152458 I don't think this year is for me either. I want to read books that I like to fill a prompt and bit have to dig to find just something.

I love that serial app. It was the only way I would have gotten through War and Peace.

Okay so it's not just me. I thought the same thing.

For one of last year's prompts I read Balls, It Takes Some to Get Some. It was Chris Edwards memoir of growing up as a girl and hating his body and eventually transitioning to a man. I think that would work so well for this prompt and I really enjoyed the book.

Great minds. I am going with The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.

152458 I was thinking The Second Chance Supper Club by Nicole Meier. One of the sisters opens a clandestine supper club in her home.

152458 Four Umbrellas by June Hutton. It also has less than 1000 ratings.

I thought it would work.

152458 I found in my TBR Just Mercy, Such a Fun Age and Catch and Kill.
152458 This is an old one but I thought it was quite good - QB VII by Leon Uris.
152458 My oldest is Cathy Lamb's The Last Time I was Me. I added it 5/10/2015.
152458 I am going to read Mismanagement is an Art. It has 54 pages. I guess I can tolerate anything for 54 pages.
152458 I just started Wally Lamb's We Are Water for this prompt.

152458 I read What Remains by Carole Radziwill. This was her memoir about
her husband and being friends with John Kennedy Jr and his wife. She was a journalist.
