50x66 The Orthogonal Galaxy (Galaxy Series, #1) by Michael L. Lewis
The Orthogonal Galaxy by Michael L. Lewis

Blurb: "When a college professor's dream of discovering a parallel Earth is in jeopardy, an astronomical phenomenon sends a trio of research students scrambling to unravel a mystery that will lead them to the discovery of a lifetime. With a compelling set of data that yields more questions than answers, NASA turns to a pair of unlikely astronauts, who undertake a mission of staggeringly poor odds to learn more about the galaxy in which they live. The Orthogonal Galaxy is the first novel in the Galaxy Series by one of Science Fiction's newest authors."

50x66 The Crossing Hour (The Crossing Hour, #1) by Quoleena Sbrocca I recently read The Crossing Hour. I love sci-fi and historical fiction, so I found this blending of two genres fascinating. For a debut novel, the quality of the writing and editing is impressive.

I spotted a typo in the URL. Try this instead.

(You know I've been spending too much time editing instead of writing these days, when I can spot typos in a string of characters that don't have any spaces in it.) ;->

Count me in, Angela. This sounds like a great way to publicize my first novel and hopefully get some more feedback on how I can improve.

Book: The Orthogonal Galaxy
Genre: Sci-Fi

Thanks!

How does the monthly book read work? Is there an online group who reads and discusses these works? I published my first book several months ago, and while there have been hundreds of downloads, only a handful of reviews have come back, providing a mere suggestion of what I can do to improve my writing as I work on the second book of the series. It would be great if there was a venue for us new indie authors to receive more feedback.

50x66 My debut novel, The Orthogonal Galaxy is now free on Kindle at Amazon.com from December 29th through January 2nd.

This is the first book of the Galaxy Series, and I'm hoping to get plenty of honest feedback so I can improve my writing as I progress through the series.
