Thanks, Sharon! I was shocked when they released the book as I’d just listened to the first one about a year ago. Yes, Clark was one of my authors as a teen that drove me towards mysteries and thrillers. The romance came only when I discovered the In Death series.

I absolutely despise love triangles and bailed after the first book. This series has legions of loyal fans and I recognize I’m in the minority. But what you described is what I foresaw and it would just make me dislike the character. How old is she now?
