1. How did you do with your goals for the year?
Pretty good:
✔ 1) Read 23,000 pages (24,036 read)
✔ 2) Read 70 books
✔ 3) Read 5 books that have been made into movies/TV shows (read 7)
✔ 4) Read 3 Trilogies
✔ 5) Complete 3 series
✔ 6) Get up-to-date in 3 series
I also read 8 new realeases.

2. What were your most outstanding series that you read during the year?
I have enjoyed reading the Lucy Kincaid series, but my favorite was getting up to date in the Dresden Files series. I also enjoyed An Ember in the Ashes series and look forward to finishing it this year.

3. What were your most favorite books read (series and standalone)?
Verity by Colleen Hoover
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman
Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham

4. What were you the most proud of accomplishing this year?
I bumped up my yearly total (60 to 70) and finished it right on time. I was getting nervous, but didn't want to rush my reading.

I completed my 2020 goal of reading 70 books by finishing Blood Magick (The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy #3) by Nora Roberts today.

I like the idea of 2 series. I'm trying to read more books off my TBR list and 3 series would be too much for me to read in 1 month. Also, 1 by genre, 1 free for all.

I finished reading The Christmas Stocking by Fern Michaels. Only 1 more to finish to complete my 2020 goal.

I finished reading A Red Tale by Nicola Mar and will be starting The Christmas Stocking by Fern Michaels soon.

I changed my mind. I have put down Hidden Bodies (You #2) by Caroline Kepnes for now and started reading Blood Magick (The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy #3) by Nora Roberts.

I finished reading The Middle of Nowhere by Barry S. Jandebeur and started reading Stolen (Lucy Kincaid #6) by Allison Brennan. I have also started reading Hidden Bodies (You #2) by Caroline Kepnes. I read a book on my Kindle at work and this is the book I read while the Kindle charges.

I moved forward in 2:
Shadow Spell by Nora Roberts - book #2 in the Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy
Reckless by Allison Brennan - book #5.5 in the Lucy Kincaid series.

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
Shadow Spell (The Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy) has great characters and an intriguing story line.
The Eighth Detective by Alex Pavesi was an interesting detective story with a great ending.


5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I moved to day shift at work and haven't been able to read as much, so I'm a little bummed out that I didn't complete more books. But...I enjoyed all the ones I did read.
