Sounds great! I've read only 2 Lovecraft books, would I "get it"? Or should I read a couple more and wait to read this?

6) Stories From The Witch Store by Olga Gutsol

5 stars. This was such a brilliant read! I haven't read fantasy in a long while, but this book totally made up for it. This book is basically a young witch's diary and it is very cleverly written and the wit was outstanding!
I LOVED it!!
Anyone looking for a refreshing read about a young witch should definitely read this book!!

I'm not sure I even have a humour book. Can anyone please suggest me a Humour book, probably an online classic book or audio book?

Hey guys,

September is here and this month we have a genre that clearly defines the purpose of this challenge. It is unconventional and not a lot of people actively read this genre on a regular basis, so this would be a great opportunity for everyone to explore this particular genre and have a month of laughter and fun.

There are absolutely no limits so you can interpret this genre in its broader sense and include other similar genres and/or subgenres that you feel might have a wee bit of similarity with the main genre. You can also include books that are not particularly centered around the main genre but has its components or elements somewhere in the story.

The main intent of this challenge is to incorporate different kinds of books and genres in our normal reading routine to make the experience more fun and entertaining. Please do not lose yourself in the technicalities as we all know how literary genres can be confusing.
If you have any doubts or questions, then post them below and we'll be happy to answer/discuss them.

Following is the DEFINITION for this month's genre:

Humour: Spelled Humor in US English, is also known as comedy fiction. A comic/humour novel is usually a work of fiction in which the writer seeks to amuse the reader, sometimes with subtlety and as part of a carefully woven narrative, sometimes above all other considerations. It could indeed be said that comedy fiction is literary work that aims primarily to provoke laughter, but this isn't always as obvious as it first may seem.

Here's a quick summary of the levels:

Level 1: Casual Reader: 1 book (easy)
Level 2: Frequent Reader: 2 books (moderate)
Level 3: Bookworm: 3 books (mildly strenuous)
Level 4: Bibliophile: 4 books (strenuous)
Level 5: Bookiopath: 5 books or more (challenging)

5) The Invitation: To Journey Through A Conscious Mind by Tyfany Janee

4 stars. It's a different kind of poetry book and was really, really good! It does fit the contemporary genre, so I'm adding it here :)

I'm not sure if this would be my last for the month as I'm reading another one which is also short, so I might do that as well.

Yeah, I had a very hard time connecting to any of the characters. The only character I remotely liked turned out to the antagonist. Lol.

4) Coma by Robin Cook

3 stars. For some reason I was not able to get into the writing. The story was good (very good in fact) but the writing made it a real drag.

3) Hiding in Third Person by Phil Bradley

3.5/5 stars. Not bad, but not great either. I'm just happy I read it in less than 2 days.

Dagny - The series was really, really good. I won't say it addressed the issues perfectly, but it was made beautifully.
I'm not sure about the book now as just I've read a dozen negative reviews (and that too negative on a crazy level) and have come to think that maybe the Series is a better way to acquaint oneself with this story.

I'm wondering if anyone here has heard of the book ?

I just watched the series and was very impressed.
