I am mostly trying to figure out a better way of decluttering. Marie Kondo is a great leader to follow when it comes to decluttering and organising a house so I am following her. The only challenge is my back. I had spine surgery last month and I can't bend, neither can I life anything more than a kg nor can I walk more than a kilometer, so it becomes a challenge as most of the work for it will fall on my husband. Lol. So I am just trying to cook his favourite food and bribing him into doing it for me ;-)
Wow, that is great, Cheryl and something we all can learn from you!I love cooking and doing a lot of it since our lockdown started from Sunday. I am also planning to search for new recipies and utilise this time to cook new and interesting items. I will definitely.implement your idea about using the ingredients that are easily available!

Cheryl wrote: "I am so glad you created this challenge! I was just thinking that I had no YA nor graphic novels at home that I could read for April's Genre Challenge. My libraries are closed and I'd rather not sp..."Thanks, Cheryl. Even I was wondering about how to get a hold of books with the libraries and my local bookseller and even Amazon closing down. It will be a great relief to read anything and be able to count it!
I've been meaning to ask this to you for a while now so I'll do it now, can you please recommend some new authors, especially classic as their books can be downloaded from Gutenberg and Librivox?
Dear RMFAO'ers,There are no rules, no timeline and no restriction for this challenge. Just go ahead and share your reads and TBR lists that you are planning to read in the next couple of months while the lockdowns and the quarantine lasts.
All books, fiction or non-fiction, are allowed for this challenge :)
Hello guys, We are here for you, always! So go ahead and voice out your thoughts if you feel like you need someone to talk to.
For starters, let us all share how are we trying to cope with the stay-at-home situation - what things are you doing? What are your planning to cook/create? And how do you plan to utilise your time?
Suggestions are welcome and if you have links for free online resources and those are welcome too!
Stay connected and stay strong!
Cheryl wrote: "Heena, I really enjoyed The Silent Patient, too. Lots of twist!"
Yep! The twists were good!!
#1 Children of Paradise by Fred D'Aguiar - 3/5An okayish read. I was expecting something different from this book, so didn't like it all that much. Though it was a well-written book.
#2 The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides - 4/5
A superb read! I absolutely loved it!!
Adelaide wrote: "Well, I am in Seattle during the coronavirus outbreak. I take an immune suppressor for my arthritis, so I am mostly staying at home reading, catching up on tv, and making art. If anyone is curious about what I do in my non reading time, I am adelaide_blair on Instagram. Mostly printmaking. "I'll definitely give you a follow (I didn't know before you were on Ig.) Stay safe!
Dagny wrote: "I would gladly be behind, Heena, if I could have visited Egypt!"Hahah! Can't argue with that ;-)
Oh, and thanks a ton for posting the thread! I made a note of it to create it before I left, but it completely slipped my mind.
OMG! You guys are so ahead already and it's only the 10th of the month!! I'm so behind... I'll be starting with my first for this challenge today. Hope I can at least read half of what you guys are reading now.
Wow, Cheryl and Adelaide, you both are totally nailing it this month and there is still another week to go!! Great going <3
#6 Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo - 1/5 - DNF13 days and endless tries later I still couldn't bring myself to finish this book! It was so preachy and full of feminism that I felt sick!! I had been waiting to get my hands on this book since its release and I so, so bad that I did not like it :(
My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
#5 In the Days of Rain: A Daughter, a Father, a Cult by Rebecca Scott - 5/5It's a memoir and what a beautiful one! A FANTASTIC READ! I will be writing the review for this book in the coming days as my head is spinning with so many things to say about this book. There is so much to learn from this book about cults and sects and how people wrongly perceive them. I read this book for my own novel's research and I'm really happy to have read this book as it was a really, really good read.
A MUST READ!!
#8 Elevation by Stephen King - 3/5An okay-ish read. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
#4 The Artist's Way: A Course in Discovering and Recovering Your Creative Self by Julia Cameron - 5/5A beautiful book on rediscovering your inner artist (And discovering the hidden artist in case if you haven't already.) A must-read for everyone! I've done my bit of first reading and now I'm going through the book as per the course - weekly stuff it asks to do and it is proving to be life-changing! I highly recommend it!!
Cheryl wrote: "Too bad about Wilder Girls. I was thinking of reading it."I was really looking forward to reading it but it turned out to be very disappointing. Though if you decide to read it lookout for the creepy body horror bits and bad characterisation.
