I am free Thurs or Fri. My husband wants to go too.

Who wants to go see the movie. It is in theaters tonight. But I was thinking next week. Let's get a group together.

One of the few science fiction I read before joining this group was "the Foundation series" it was long but easy reading. It didn't take as long to read as some of the stuff we have read. I really enjoyed it. I have read some of Allende's stuff. It is good too.

I was impressed with the discussion last night. It actually help me like the book better. The problem was it was so annoying I didn't want to know if there was anything in it that was worth listening. I think there was after the discussion. To bad he put it in such an annoying manor.

I feel the same way. It goes off in tangents and it makes it confusing. I think the story line gets overshadowed in the text.

I just found out I will not be able to attend this month. I wish I was able to because I was surprised how much I enjoyed the book.

I like the idea of Joseph's special gifts being touch. I had not thought of it that way, but it really gives an added demention to his charactor. I kinda felt like the turning into a chair was a scientific experiment, the reason why he wanted no one to ever come to his room. Not that that is unusual for teenage boys.

I hope your surgery goes well. Good Luck. We will be thinking of you Lucy.
I liked the title. I think it went well with the book. Finished it yesterday.

I want to go too and am pretty flexible as well

Jana said dhe can make it

Jana is not sure she can make it. She comes home Monday from vacation and it depends how much hit the fan at work while she was away

I will ask Jana when she comes home

Yeah, I was surprised and I didn't like it that much

I won't be able to attend on Wednesday. Sorry, was looking forward to it.

I actually have a couple of suggestions. I am not sure which category some fit into.
Seven Brief Lessons on Physics, Carlo Rovelli
Caped Crusade- Batman and the Rise of Nerd Culture, Glen Weldo
The Association of Small Bombs, Karan Mahajan
or maybe
The Fireman, Joe Hill

I have 10 pages left to go. There are parts that I really liked and ideas. But other parts were boring and drawn out.

I finished the book yesterday, really enjoyed this one
