had no idea there was any "sudden acclaim" on this one. just thought it was a good read. liked the structure of it, too. it is pretty heavy, but it's funny. i thought it worked. i must be getting old because i was, like, touched or something. ha!

well, i finished it. thought it was excellent.

are steve and i the only two that read it?

i'm 3/4 of the way through. is anyone else reading this?

'bout half way through now. oof, this thing is hea-vy. sad, and yet eggers manages to inject some humor into it.

yeah, it's a little on the long side, almost 500 pages. plus...small type!

anyway, i'm almost 100 pages into it. 's pretty good so far.

looks like i've been chosen to pick the february book of the month.
