142779 Started This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper a while ago and just picked it back up again. The first few chapters are pretty brutal and depressing but it's starting to get better. Definitely a dark comedy but I'm liking it so far.

I cried when I found out all of Mia's family died accept her. Overall, I loved the book."

Oh definitely. Also when her grandpa cried over her. I thought the whole book was a very interesting look behind the veil of trauma. It just made me think about sickness and coma's differently. The idea that they can still hear you when you're talking to them has always been a mystery I feel like, and I liked that idea better than thinking they're already gone. Very interesting and thought provoking read.

How are you liking Where She Went? Just finished If I Stay and was debating If I should start it right away or not?

Agreed, I thought the movie version of Fight Club was WAY better than the actual book.

142779 My favorites are the BBC miniseries of Pride and Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Collin Firth, Shutter Island, The Prisoner of Azkaban, and The Lovely Bones.

You should! I really loved it. It was so different from anything I had ever read. Really fascinating.

142779 I have both, had a Nook but got the Kindle Fire when it came out. I liked buying from amazon over B&N.
142779 I read Brain on Fire My Month of Madness by Susannah Cahalan a few months ago and it was a really powerful look into the mind of madness. It changed the way I see mental disorders and made me realize that so many things are out of peoples control when in situations like this. It was fascinating and eye-opening.
