I hope Eragon and Arya end up together. While Eragon cannot return to Alagaesia, I think it could be possible that Arya may follow Eragon to wherever he went.

I also felt that Galbatorix was a combination between Sauron from the Lord of the Rings, Darth Sidious from Star Wars, and the Mad King from Game of Thrones. That sounds like a frightening mix!
