1426 yeah i agree with that... because the prophecy never says how it will turn out

1426 if the character has been in all three books nd is also of royalty. who does that leave as a prospective character for eragon to fall in love with?

1426 so unless Paolini brings new information about an existing character then right now the only logical choice is Arya...

1426 So do you think an entire new character will be created for Eragon to fall in love with? Because the way the books are going it doesn’t seem like Eragon and Arya will end up being together. I think the question should be will Paolini disappoint his fans or not? I’m willing to bet a lot of fans would be upset if Eragon and Arya don’t get together.

1426 I think the theory is interesting and it would be a twist because so many fans kinda expect Eragon and Arya to end up together but I think I think it should be a stretch for Paolini to make the prophecy about Nasuada.

1426 None of the books up until this point have said anything about Nasuada being from royalty. Although we know little about her past, so this could be something Paolini could add in the next one. After thinking about it, I think Paolini wants the reader to think it is Arya and then surprise everyone with someone else, but if this is the case there has been no hints from any of the books so I don’t know if he will do this or not.

1426 I agree with most of what everybody is saying however, there is a part in the the third book where Ergaon and Arya are camping on there way to the varden. This is the first time Arya really opens up to eragon and when he makes her the rose she accepts it even though it stood for more than just friendship.
