I think he remembered the prophecy...as he was writing the last book.
Also, I HATED the idea they would end up together until this book. Because Eragon was so annoying and Arya was still grieving that elf guy.
He brought it back fairly nicely.

My opinion has changed...the idea of Arya and Eragon...has grown on me. I think that someday they will end up together but it may take a few thousand tears. Also I don't think Anglena's fortune could/should be taken 100% as correct because that will just annoy me.

I am very happy with this book! There are some problems but oh well.

I just got the last book...I am kinda optimistic and have high hopes it will at least give me a responsible ending, anyone else have it yet? (I kinda looked up spoilers and am thinking it might end in a ok way, not great but ok.)

Eragon and the elves are retard it is the dragons and the bad guy that keeps me reading and Roran:P

She could, but honestly I can't see her character marrying Eragon or the other kind dude who's name escapes me. I just don't think she would get with someone she didn't actually like. I always hoped her and Murtagh would get together though.

Nasuada should get Murtagh..also I don't want Eragon to end up with somebody...I am totally ok with him single all of his options I don't like:)

Honestly I think that he could get with her but it also could be the tragedy of the story they never end up togeather.

If you havented read the most recent book don't read any further I have a spoiler here....
Was anyone else annoyed when Eragon's real father was reveled as Brom? I liked it when he had to over come what Morzan was and be a better person also liked it when he realized it takes more then createing you to be a father. All this made me like Eragon because I had started to thing he was kinda stupid with the need of a challange (for himself personally saving the world not included). Then they just take it all away with "Oh Morzan really isn't your father your mom was sleeping with another man." Why don't they make Galbatorix his father in the end?!

Felt more like he based it of Star Wars what with the order of riders..all being destroyed be an evil rider.

If they get togeather I'll be angry! 1. Arya was in love with someone else, which is implied in the most reasont book...she isn't ready to move on yet! 2. it's the most retarded EVER love couple. 3, how much more like lord of the rings does this guy want to make this book? I mean he's already copied Star Wars pretty bad...

I love Paolini don't get me wrong...but there are moments this book is so like...LOTR and Star Wars with it's on twist...nothing wrong with it just kinda perdictable as for all to powerful bad guy:D

I think we could have a whole book on Galby, he I think is extremly powerful and was allowed to grow stronger rather then be dealt with early.
I also think along with telling him he couldn't have another Dragon they should have suggested a good therapy sescsion.....I like him:D
