I know Catholics are the first. I didn't dispute that. I am talking about Christian culture in the south. Did anybody actually read what I wrote? I was saying that, according to non Catholics, Catholics are not Christians because Catholics say you have to go through a priest to get saved.

When I was a shitlen I went to many churches. Baptist, Nazerene, non denominational, Catholic ect. I even went to church camp. Catholicism says you need to go through a priest to get saved. That is not in the bible and the Non Catholics are not a fan. That is the distinction that Christians make. Christians say that anyone at anytime can be saved. No middle man needed.

I live in New Orleans, I was raised in Texas and I know a lot of people from Mississippi. I can say with certainty that New Orleans is unlike everywhere in the South including most of Louisiana. The major cities and metropolitan areas in the south are way different than the people that live in small cities and towns. Their views are way different. Most big cities in the South have democratic Mayors. They are close to fifty percent liberal, maybe fifty-five percent liberal.

I am working on a novella right now. I have two short stories that I have to read. They are dark dramas. One is about hostages fighting for their freedom of speech and the other is about a man held captive and his defiance and reflection. https://www.goodreads.com/story/list/...
