I really liked how this book ended however, Cara and Aelyx's relationship didn't seem very deep, I wished it was more developed. I was right in my prediction how Cara would find out the truth without Aelyx confessing it. I really think the sequel will be better because the foundation has already been laid. I feel like something was missing like everyone else has said.
Rating 3.5 stars: there where a few really great moments but a lot it was little lack luster

I wish Aelyx would've told Cara the full truth about what he did!

"Your pulse is 130, I win" that was too funny!
Things are heating up!

Me too, it's got to be revealed soon!!!

My guess is that Aelyx will eventually back out of the plan when he falls in love with Cara... but it'll be dangerously close to being too late. If Cara ever finds out about what Aelyx had been scheming (even if he backs out) she'll be an angry mess, having Tori break their friendship off and Aelyx "going behind her back".
It'll be interesting to see if I'm right

I really am wondering what this secret plan is, but from the sound of things it can't be positive for Cara.
I really like how there is interaction with Cara's parents, in a lot of books its not very prominent. I really didn't like Tori at first but now she's growing on me, she is giving up a lot to make things work for Aelyx even though she doesn't care too much for him, it shows she trusts and cares about Cara.

I really liked the L'eihr flatbread scene, I thought it was amusing. I really wonder what Aelyx is up to and I'm curious to see what unfolds.

The beginning was just average, noting special about it. I think Cara is alright. I'm really hoping for a character with humor as I'm not sensing a whole lot from anyone yet.

I think the romance in this book will be fun, I hope it's not too cheesy though!
