of course there are some cases when even though their past is hard or sad, they manage to turn out happy and nice like with harry potter. Harry grew up neglected so i gues he learnt to treasure the friendships he made? idk. to me draco's character makes more sence. draco's father was cruel and mean and stuff....so the son of course took on the father's ways...yet the mother had some kindness so draco was able to brake away at the end??

in my opinion, every part of the personality has to make sence and should be linked somhow to her past.

for example, if someone killed her mother it wouldn't make sence she'd be a happy-go-lucky charatcer...unless someone in her history made her positive. maybe her father was supportive? maybe someone put the mum's killer to justice? maybe a boyfriend helped her get throught it?

i mean...if someone killed y mum i wouldn't exactly be the positive type.....unless of course the mum is abusive and horrid to the child. then they'd be HAPPY that they are dead. then the sad personality due to abuse can be shifted to happy at freedom but still maybe tramatiized somehow.

start off with dot pooints of what happened in her history and then for each dot point expand and write something about it.
for example:

~ her friend betrayed her:
a bully was hiting her an the friend just watched, this made her weary of making friends.
more than that of course.


maybe even make a link to her personality. how did you person turn out the way she did?






your charrie's personality: (i belive history and personality are closley linked.


~ She likes to smile and laugh.
why? you say she had a tragic history and her mum died. so why does she like smiling and laughing? was there somthing or someone in her history that encouraged her to keep on smiling? maybe a teacher supported her? or she promised her mother to live life fully?
you said her dad left her mum and her? did that impact her in some way? maybe later on in her life she stayed away from boys cause she was afraid they'd leave her? mayeb she did date soemone in the past?

~ She just has a very fun, nice, warm personality.
again, write why? what happened in her history to make her so positive?

~ She can be merciless and ruthless if needed, or if she's hungry though.
again, why? maybe you could say because her dad left them then she became like that? you need to find a reason for this part of her. and a reason why she can be merciless and ruthless while still having a warm and nice personality?
maybe a friend died cause she was too kind so she learnt to make a personality swictch when needed?
