Also another thought, I haven't read the books (currently on book 1) and I am caught up to date with the series, I am wondering will we ever meet Jon Snow's mother? This is a really bizarre thought of mine and it probably is wrong because it seems like most of you ladies and gentleman have read the books and so far I kind of get the impression that she is just another tavern wench, but what if Jon Snow's mother was like a Lady or someone of power in a previous house or something. That would be really cool to see her come back and take Jon in or something. Just a thought that is completely out there so don't be too harsh! Lol.

I was kind of wondering why Ben Stark chose the black. I am thinking maybe because growing up he didn't really have anything to inherit because of Bran and Eddard so maybe he just chose to create a new path for himself?

Hey everyone my name is Kevin. I am new to reading and goodreads. I have watched all the seasons of GoT on HBO so I am up to date with the show. I started reading GoT because I really want to find out what happens next because it's hard to wait a year between now and season 5. I have never really read at all but it is starting to turn into my new hobby. I am currently on book one of the series and I am on page 486.

I am on page 475, the chapter is Bran (not sure which number though). Hopefully I can finish the book by the weekend so I can start Clash of Kings.

I hope that the TV show doesn't create new plots and characters etc. if it does surpass the books.
