"I'm fine," Ryan said. "What about you?"

Ryan ran away from Aria. Daniel advanced towards her and succeeded in knocking her out.

"You wouldn't," Aria challenged.

Aria raised her eyebrows. "Or what?"

Clary shook her head. "Jace?"
Ryan snuck up behind Aria and tried to knock her out. Key word:
Tried. Aria dropped Taylor and spun around and grabbed Ryan instead.

((Who?))
Aria continued to stare at Marissa.

"No," Marissa said after a pause. "
La amo."
Aria stared at her daughter. "
What?"

"
Ti odio," Marissa snarled.
"Ah," Aria said, unaffected. "But you don't hate her."

((Does that mean we're time lords?))

Aria tightened her grip even more. "Move out of the way, Marissa."
"No," Marissa said. She swallowed nervously.

Aria let out a curse and tightened her grip on Taylor. The sword cut into her neck again. Marissa glanced at Daniel. She stepped forward. "Mom-"

Aria smiled tightly. "Goodbye." She started to leave, maneuvering Taylor.

"But I have something you want," Aria said.

((I can't think of a comeback... Call me?))

"I want," Aria said slowly. "To get out. I'm going to leave, and then maybe you can have her back."

Aria laughed. "No. Make one move, and she dies."

((Do I have to?))
Jace and Clary walked around the corner.

First thing that popped in my mind.

"Uh," Ryan glanced at Hayley.
