Ryan shrugged. "Not my problem."
"What?" Ryan asked. "I didn't think she'd actually show up."
"I sent some warlock a fire message," Ryan said, pulling away from Taylor.
Ryan hopped under his bed.
Ryan ran into his room and locked the door.
"Can't! I have to study." Ryan yelled back.
Ryan laughed. He ran back up the stairs.
"Nothing," Ryan said.
"Ah." Ryan said knowingly.
Ryan ran down the stairs. "Who is it?"

Cara stood patiently.
Cara looked at the adults, waiting.
"Great, I can wait."Cara said, spinning around.
"Good." Cara said, turning around. "I can leave then."
"Cara." She said. "I was summoned, by someone whose name I forgot."
Cara looked up as the door opened. She looked at the kid, waiting for her to say something.
